We Are We

I look into the the mirror
So long that have fear of
Myself
Who am I?
And whom of why?
No one wants to question me
Because questioning is a meaningful see
I don't even know what I am
Am I a violent storm
Or a fluffy lamb?
Am I the ugly duckling
Whom is the reason of chuckling
Or am I just a flowered mind
Among many of the same kind
To be a nobody is great
That much I can relate

But I say there's something else
The people who have pain
And want it to be dealt

Could I maybe try and help them?
Give them more than a little green stem
Maybe I'm in the mirror and I'm the one trapped
But I also could be the one beautiful present
all nice and wrapped
And then this is the point
We don't know who flips the coin
We don't know who rolls a joint
We don't know who's in their bed crying
And we don't who's great aunt is dying
But we're all here
And we need to stop clinging to fear
Don't try to decipher and rip words apart
Try to write you own
Give them a lovely start
