skin and bones

Because I'm torn
Do we let my kind
Keep feeding the
Others' minds?
Or do we cut the chain
Let animals loose
Bring on the reign
Of the violent goose
They'll tear each other up
In a society so corrupt
But, God, they'll learn their lesson
Even if it's so abrupt
Why should I listen
To the people who diss them?
I take off my glasses
Because the blurs are easy to handle
Although it sounds drastic
I'll blow out the brightest candle
Is that what it takes?

Do you even deserve to hear my thoughts
You literally caused my soul to rot
All the pain is what you brought
After all that time
I found the happiness I sought
Bring on the goose
And bring on the fight
I'm ready to fight both
Day and night
If I remain terse and ready
Perhaps the revolution
Will go somewhat steady
I'm changing, yes, but I keep my grin
For I know somehow I will win
I think I'm literally on the brink
Also, yes, to the question that
You might think
