Elevator

After the woods incident

"I can't believe I'm stuck in an elevator with you!" I say looking at Klaus.
"It's your fault, you didn't want to use the stairs." He says.
"Sorry I thought the elevator would be faster to go up 40 stories!"
"Caroline were vampires it would have taken us two seconds."
"Maybe I didn't feel like exercising."
"Of course you didn't." Klaus says and walks in a circle.
"Ugh! You're so annoying!" I say.
"Maybe you should have gone with the doppelgänger then." He says.
"Elena is being a bitch right now." I say.
"When isn't she?"
"These days, I don't know." I say and stand up.
"Klaus open the elevator doors." I say and he pulls them open, to a solid wall.
"Seemed like a lot of help love."
"Oh shut up." I say. "Well you've got to entertain me somehow."
"And how to you expect me to do that?"
"I don't know."
"If you don't know, how do you expect to know?"
"Older, more experienced."
"Great answer."
"Tell me about your dad."
"No."
"Your sister?"
"No."
"Elijah?"
"No."
"Anyone?"
"No. Do you have paper in your purse?"
"Yes." I hand him a piece of paper and pencil. He sits on the floor and leans against the wall. He starts to draw on his paper.
"Really?"
"What Love?"
"You're not going to talk, just going to draw?"
"Yes, it will pass time quickly."
"For you."
He puts the paper on his lap.
"Then let me draw you."
"Okay." I sit still and he draws and looks up every so often.
"Here." He says and hand me the paper when he finishes.
"Klaus it's beautiful."
"That's because the person who is drawn is beautiful."
I smile. He smiles too. I want to kiss him, but I know it's wrong. I know I shouldn't, but I do. I kiss him. I kiss him like I've never kissed before.
"Caroline I thought you wanted me to leave?"
"I guess you could stay a little while longer." I say and he kisses me again. I start to pull his shirt off, then the elevator falls to ground level.
"Caroline, you alright?" Klaus says.
"Yeah, let's get out of this elevator." I say and grab his hand. We walk out hand in hand.
