Surprisingly, the news didn't hit me that hard. It was as if this was nothing new to me, random wolves having powers. Then, I realized that this might be a good time to reveal my secret, too. I got up and said "That was pretty weird, but I have something to show you, too." Hops nodded and fixed her bright sunlit eyes right on mine, expectantly. I took a deep breath, and slowly unfolded my shiny , bird like black wings

Grasshopper just stared. And stared. And stared some more.

"Wow. Kes, you ARE the Wolf of Prophecy!!"

"I'm the WHAT now?", I asked, confused at what just came out of my friend's mouth.

"Kestrel, you are very special. I will explain later. First of all, have you heard of the Elemental Dragons?" Hops responded. She sounded like she meant business.

I replied with a definite "No", I had never heard of them.

As I folded in my wings, she told me that they were a group of 11 dragons that lived in a big castle in the clouds, and they controlled everything in life. Everyone thought they were a myth, but they still reside in their castle, the Elemental Pillars, and control earth. They were also all brothers, except for one female dragon who was not related to any of them. We stayed in the forest for about 2 days straight learning about the Dragons.

That night, I went over in my brain trying to memorize the names. Topaz, the dragon of the Sun. Anansi, the dragon of time. Thorn, the dragon of fire. Gabriel, the dragon of plant life. Hydra, the dragon of water, Shadow, the dragon of the moon. Hypnos, the dragon of animal life. Knight, the dragon of weather. Legend, the dragon of.... Death.

Of all the dragons, there were two that I could not get out of my head. Ember, the dragon of purity, and Jade, the dragon of air and only female. The names seemed so familiar to me. A memory tried to break into the wall of my mind, but it couldn't get through. I was somehow related in some way to these Elementals. Maybe that's why I have these wings! Am I a dragon from another life, and I remember my past?

I was cut short when Hops said we needed to get moving. We got all the way to a hill, and I saw a town at the bottom. Grasshopper immediately put a shaggy paw out in front of my chest; a sign that said "Don't move."
