Alana's POV
We wish for things we cannot see.
We take a leap and we fall.
But know exactly who you're taking the leap for, because they might just pick you up.
I wake up feeling drowsy and I unlock my door, padding to the kitchen. I stop in my tracks as I find Aiden laying on the couch sleeping.
I sigh and walk over to him, planting a soft kiss on his cheek.
Some people won't understand why I would take such a chance after what happened seven years ago but its exactly that.
It happened seven years ago.
I knew sometime I would have to let my walls down to be truly happy and well, I guess now's the time.
It isn't as easy as it seems. . . opening up, but I understand what where he came from.
Doesn't mean I'm not gonna make him pay though, he pressured me a bit too much last night.
I walk towards the kitchen, and start preparing breakfast. Soon I hear his footsteps approaching. I don't turn around, just listen.
I expect him to stand next to me or something but instead, he grabs me from behind and buries his head in my neck.
"I'm sorry for pushing you baby." He apologizes and I try to hide my smile. Letting go and I spin around. He gets down on his knees and I raise an eyebrow at him. He hugs me, placing his head on my stomach and I sigh placing my hand into his hair.
"Its okay." I murmur. "I understand. . . where you came from but next time please don't pressure me. . my past isn't exactly an easy place to revisit."
He stands, nods and grips my waist pulling me into him, planting a lazy kiss on my lips.
"Something's burning." He mutters and my eyes widen.
"My eggs!"

"You know I still have a company to take care of right? And so do you." I remind Aiden as he suggests up spending another day together.
"Oh fu-"
"Language.
"-dgecakes. . .?" He dies down standing and I giggle.
"What is it?"
"I have a meeting early this morning." He rushes to put on his shoes and I shake my head at him.
"C'mere." He says opening his arms and I walk over to give him hug. He pulls apart and plants kisses all over my face and I squeal.
"Have a good day babygirl." He murmurs and I smile softly.
"You too babe." As soon as he leaves, I lean my back against the door, pressing my hand against my flaming cheeks.

"The chocolate tastes better." I tell Jude and she nods.
"I agree." I smile at the new employee.
"I like you already." Moving on I went to my office and placed my head down on the desk.
I've been feeling a little sick since this morning and its beginning to worry me.
I'm probably just hungry.
I grab my bag and decide to get something to eat. Walking into a funny looking restaurant, I order the chicken soup.
"30.75." The cashier tells my and my mouth drops open.
"For a small bowl of chicken soup?!'
"Look, its either you want it or you don't." She snaps and I raise my hand in mock surrender. She hands me my change and my meal and I walk soundly back to the pastry shop and dig in right away.
Thirty minutes later, I'm hunched over the toilet vomiting. I see black spots and I swoon, reaching to flush the toilet. I shakily stand and walk over to the sink rinsing my mouth.
I wiped my face and flinched at how cold the seemed to be. I leaned on the sink and stared at myself. My eyes were getting more red by the minute and my throat was beginning to close up.
Panicking, I try my best to make it to my office and I fine Aiden there thankfully.
"Sunflower?" Worry evidently etched through his voice. I reach for him, nearly falling and he grabs me.
"Help. . . me. ." I murmur, my eyes begging to be closed and I start slipping.
"Hey? Alana stay with me!" He slaps my cheek lightly but I only cling on to him as everything starts going black.
"Aiden?" I call out softly before everything goes dark.
