TWENTY-FOUR

Theo catches me. "Alex hold on," Liam says. They get into the elevator.

Theo tries to take my pain. "It doesn't hurt Theo," I say. I look at both of them.

I smile. Liam starts to tear up. I grab my phone. I look at the home screen of Derek and I. I smile.

I look at Theo. "I'm so proud of you Theo," I say. The elevator doors open. "Theo I know you loved me but-" It gets darker.

Theo's Point Of View
I feel for a heartbeat. She can't die. I can't lose her.

The doctors take her away and put her on a table.

"Scott you need to get to the hospital," Liam says. "You need to get here now. It's Alex."

Alex's Point of View
I never got to finish my sentence. I see Derek running into the room. He looks at Theo. "What happen?" Derek asks.

"Alex saw a shooter and she pushed Liam and me down. Threw a dagger and he managed to get her," Theo says.

Derek puts his hands on my head. "Why isn't she healing?" Derek asks.

"The shooter wasn't supernatural," Scott answers. A doctor comes into the room.

"Well she's has to fight. She has to stay alive," Derek says.

"Deucalion just died. Do you really think she wants to fight to be alive?" Theo asks. Theo is a sobbing mess.

Derek thinks about it for a moment. Stiles, Malia, Lydia, Liam, Mason and Corey are here too. Obviously Ethan and Jackson are.

"Do you want them to be in pain if you die?" Someone asks. I look over and see Aiden. Allison shows up too.

"Are you implying this is my choice?" I ask.

"It's your choice," Allison answers.

I look back at Derek and Theo. Then they're gone. Liam gets Theo up to go change. I follow them.

They get to Theo's car. Theo grabs an extra shirt. "Alex will be okay," Liam asssures. Liam's not sure himself.

"You don't know that," Theo says. Liam hugs Theo. I smile.

"Theo just kiss him. We aren't dating," I say. Whatever they can't hear me. Theo starts crying harder.

"Remember when the Dread Doctors called you a failure," Liam says. "They did learn they have to take pure good into pure evil."

"Come on Liam. Where are you going with this?" I ask.

"Alex loves you Theo. She wanted to see you become good," Liam says. I walk back inside to see Derek and them. Derek is in a chair with his head in his hands.

Scott and Stiles right by him. The doctor comes into the waiting room. "Derek, Scott and Ethan," Melissa says.

Am I dying? They all get up. "Where's Theo?" Melissa asks.

"He went with Liam to go change," Scott answers.

"Is Alex okay?" Ethan asks.

"She's out of surgery. The doctors don't think she'll make it to 48 hours," Melissa answers.

"What room is she in?" Derek asks.

"238," Melissa answers.

Derek goes walks off. Scott and Ethan look at Theo. Then at each other. I follow Derek. When he gets to my room I see me. He barges in there.

"Alex you do not get to leave me," he yells.

"I'm sorry Derek," I say.

"You do not get to make me fall in love with over and over again. I don't care if you choose Theo. I don't care if it's Stiles. You've got to come back," Derek says. Theo rushes in the room.
