Athena prefers to just watch Raffy packs his things. He is set to leave for Manila very early morning the following day. For days, Raffy's decision to go back to Manila has not sink in yet to Athena until now that she sees him packing all his stuff.
"Can you just please leave that white shirt to me?" Athena requested
"Huh? Ano naman ang gagawin mo dito? Also, hindi pa ito na-laundry" Raffy said
"Better, para nandyan pa rin yung amoy mo. Gagawin kong pillow case yan para maamoy pa rin kita. Ayokong masyado kitang ma-miss" Athena seriously replied.
"Seryoso ka ba?" Raffy asked and Athena nods pouting. "Come here your majesty, I think you need a hug" he said and Athena quickly runs to him for a tight hug.
"I'll be alone again, promise me that you will call me as much as you can. If you miss a day, I will not talk to you anymore" Athena said and tears begin to stream down her cheeks. Raffy releases a big sigh as he too finds it so hard to leave.
"I promise to call you whenever I can and wherever I am. Kaya lang, please don't make me promise me to call you daily, hindi ako sure sa signal sa barko, but I promise to do the best way I can to call you" Raffy said and kisses Athena's temple. "Take care of yourself here your majesty. Don't make me worry too much" he added
"Ikaw din, pag uwi mo ng Manila hindi ka pwedeng makipag-date kay Clarisse" Athena said
"At bakit naman ako makikipag-date dun?" Raffy asked chuckling
"Nakakatawa ka pa talaga eh" Athena protested
"Oh eh di hindi na po" Raffy casually said
"Akala mo talaga nagbibiro ako? Kapag talaga nalaman kong nakipag-date ka kay Clarisse hindi na kita kakausapin kahit kailan" Athena said.
"Hindi nga!" Raffy firmly said
"Atsaka how can I do that kung after naming mag-usap ng Daddy ko eh aakyat na ako agad ng barko?" Raffy asked.
"Kahit pa!" Athena insisted
"Dito na lang kaya patirahin si Ashley para may kasama ka" Raffy suggested
"Even before you came, I already offered her my place. Sabi ko nga free board and lodging, kaya lang ayaw talagang iwan yung boyfriend nya eh" Athena said. "Ayoko namang pati si Lennard dito rin titira" she added.
"Ayoko rin" Raffy replied
"Have you pack yung shawl na binili ko for Tita Liza?" Athena asked
"Yes po your majesty, takot ko lang i-nag nyo ako ng Mommy ko kapag hindi ko nai-uwi yung pasalubong mo" Raffy said.
"Have you communicated with Ate? She's been trying to reach you for days already, ikaw na lang daw ang hindi nakakaalam na engaged na sya. Can you please meet her before you start working?" Athena asked
"Of course I will, I need to tell her also tna ako na ang magma-manage ng luxury ship namin. May gusto ka bang ipasabi?" Raffy replied.
"Siraulo ka talaga. You promise me that you won't tell her. Kailangan dalawa tayong magsasabi kanya ng tungkol sa atin. Lagot ka sa akin kapag inunahan mo ko" Athena said
"Joke lang naman yun, sabi ko nga di ba, dapat nandun ka para may taga-gising ako kapag napatulog ako ng suntok ni Charmaine" Raffy said laughing
"Do you think this will work?" Athena seriously asked
"Yes this will work, because we will make this work. It will not be easy but we have our love for each that we can hold on to. Basta whenever you feel sad and alone, never hesitate to call me, if I miss your call, I promise to return your call as soon as I sees it. I want you to enjoy yourself here, go out with some of your friends but only to those friends who are good influences or better bring Ashley in every party that you'll attend to. Do not drink if you are going to drive. Clean the house weekly not monthly or quarterly. As much as possible, cook your own food and please your majesty do not stay up late. Make sure that you get enough sleep. Lagot ka sa akin kapag nagkasakit ka" Raffy replied
"Do you have a paper and a pen?" Athena asked.
"It's in the drawer, why do you need those?" Raffy asked
"Can you please write those things that you've just said then I will pin it on the ref so I will not forget" Athena said
"Joke ba yun?" Raffy asked.
"No, ayoko lang talagang makalimutan" Athena replied
"I will write it later and ako na ang magpi-pin sa ref mo. In the meantime, cuddle time muna, sobrang mami-miss ko ang hug mo eh" Raffy said and Athena lets him hug her tight
"Don't wake me up when you leave later. I don't want to see you leaving. I don't want you to say your goodbye. Text me when your reach the airport and before your take off. Call me on your stop-over and let's go on skype when you reach Manila" Athena commanded
"Noted your majesty" Raffy said smiling while still hugging Athena.
"I love you my knight and shinning armour. Take care of yourself too" Athena said
"I love you more your majesty, don't you ever forget that" Raffy said and planted a sweet and lingering kiss to his princess' lips.
Raffy already left when Athena wakes up the next day. She already felt the loneliness as she sees an empty and silent kitchen where she often sees Raffy preparing their breakfast. A letter got her attention posted at the refrigerator, she quickly take it and read it.
My Dearest Athena,
Since you told me to write all my bilin, then here it is because your wish is my always my command. I will enumerate so it would be easier to remember.
1. Do not let your laundry file up, better do it as often as you can
2. Set an alarm twice in case you'll miss the first one
3. Cook your own food
4. Do not splurge too much, start saving
5. You may go out and party but make sure that those friends are good influences or better stick with Ashley, one good and true friend is enough than having a lot but would not stay with during hard times.
6. Clean the house often; do not wait until you sneeze because of the accumulated dust.
7. Organize your things. Make sure that you'll easily find them whenever you need those.
8. Do not drink if you need to drive.
9. Make sure to have enough sleep so do not stay up too late at night.
10. You are not allowed to get sick
11. Dead phone is not allowed because I will call as often as I can. Make sure to call me back in case you miss my call
12. If you feel sad, call me
13. If you feel alone, call me
14. If you feel like talking to someone, call me first
