Chapter Nineteen

Raffy and Athena are back on their usual routine.  While Athena is in school Raffy takes care of the apartment and works on his MBA at the same time.  There were times though very seldom he sends messages to Richard for an update about Athena and him. 

It is Charmaine and Athena who never cease to have their usual skype session and oftentimes Raffy sats in front of Athena to ensure that Charmaine would not see him.  There were times that Raffy could not control himself to silently react whenever Charmaine would mention those guys whom she thought are smitten to her sister.

“How are you Ate?” Kamusta preparation mo sa anniversary nyo ni Tristan? Nakabili ka na ba ng regalo? What’s the plan?” Athena asked Charmaine during their usual skype conversation while Raffy is busy with his own stuff in his laptop.  Athena purposely did not use her headset so that Raffy could hear their conversation.

“Ewan ko kay Tristan, ayaw sabihin sa akin eh.  Surprise daw.  May nabili naman na akong gift for him, gagawin ko na kang yung compilation ng pictures namin together” Charmaine said

“Excited ka na Ate?” Athena asked. 

“Yes, sana hindi epic fail, kailangan panindigan nya ang excitement ko” Charmaine said

“Wag mo kasing taasan ang expectation mo para hindi ka mahopia.  Saka wag mong awayin si Tristan kapag na disappoint ka, kawawa naman yun baka magpakamatay” Athena said while laughing out loud and Raffy could not help but smile at his girlfriends antics

“Sobra ka naman sa magpakamatay. Luka-luka ka rin eh no, isumbong kita kay Tristan” Charmaine said

“As if naman takot ako sa boyfriend mo.  Sya nga yung takot sa akin eh, imagine magpapadala pa ng blueberry muffin sa akin dito sa Germany.  Sabihin  mo sa kanya girlfriend ka na nya, hindi na nya ako kailangang utuin” Athena uttered 

“Having said that sis, did Joshua call you already? I gave him your number” Charmaine asked

“Hindi pa sya tumatawag ate.  Sabi ko naman kasi kay Tristan wag nang istorbohin si Joshua” Athena said.

“Don’t worry my dear sister Joshua is more than willing to do it.  May crush kasi sya sa yo” Charmaine uttered which causes Raffy to look at Athena sharply

“Stop it Ate, I am not buying that.  Ikaw talaga lahat na lang ng guys na nakikilala ko inirereto mo sa akin.  Nakakahiya ka” Athena said while Raffy did not remove his stare at her.

“Eh tutoo naman na crush ka ni Joshua.  When he saw you sa graduation party ko kinulit na si Tristan na ipakilala ka nya sa kanya.  Who knows your meeting with him might start something special” Charmaine teases.

“Nothing special would start Ate.  I know Joshua, ipinakilala na sya sa akin ni Tristan.  Mukha naman syang mabait pero hindi ko sya type” Athena replied

“At least give him a chance Athena.  Mabait naman talaga si Joshua gwapo pa” Charmaine said

“Gwapo? Nasaan?” Athena replied

“Palibhasa si Enzo na ang gwapo para sa yo” Charmaine said

“O bakit naman nadamay si Enzo sa usapan natin? We are talking about Joshua Ate, Enzo has nothing to do with him” Athena said. 

“Uy ipinagtatangol, akala mo hindi ko napapansin, sobrang close na kaya kayo ni Enzo na parang ang tagal nyo nang magkakilala.  Baka soulmate kayo” Charmaine teases.

“Soulmate ka dyan, tantanan mo nga ako kay Enzo ate” Athena said

“What’s wrong with him, obvious naman that he likes you.  Pati nga buong pamilya botong-boto sa yo.  I’m sure matutuwa si Dad kapag kayo ni Enzo ang nagkatuluyan” Charmaine said
