Princess Athena (Completed)

Chapter Forty Four

With the sudden turn of events, Raffy does not know now what to do. No one is to be blamed but him alone, he was very carefree and admittedly underestimated his girl. Athena maybe childlike but her maturity is beyond her age whenever she decided to be one.

To make his presence felt, he sends numerous messages to Athena several 'I miss you', more of the 'I love you' and never misses the 'I'm so sorry'. But in all those message Athena did not replied even once. In in entire shift, Raffy just stayed in his cabin and just leave instruction to some of his staff to call him only whenever an unmanageable costumer concern arises. This is one of those times that he wanted to be alone to be able to think straight. Athena's cold treatment seriously gave him a lot of fright.

He heard Alfonso calls him from his door, he does not want talk to anyone at this point but his cousin seems not to stop until he opens the door.

"Felicity is looking for you" Alfonso said "Sabi ko, masama ang pakiramdam mo. She wanted to come here but I told her to just let you rest"

"Hayaan mo muna sya" Raffy said and lets Alfonso in

"Nakausap mo na ba si Athena?" Alfonso asked

"Hindi pa rin, wala man lang reply sa mga messages ko" Raffy frustratedly replied

"Bakit kasi hindi mo sinabi yung tutoo" Alfonso asked

"She is on her way to school, ayoko ng ganong usapan early morning" Raffy replied

"You were so careless Raphael. You got overwhelmed sa pagbabati nyo ni Felicity while unconsciously hurting Athena" Alfonso said

"Ang sakit na ng ulo ko kaka-isip kung ano ang gagawin ko, hindi ko kakayaning magalit sa akin si Athena" Raffy declared

"It's time to tell her the truth, tell her who Felicity is to you. That's the right thing to do. Wag mo nang dagdagan ang atraso mo kay Athena mas mahirap umahon kapag nakalubog ka na" Alfonso advises.

"Thanks Captain" Raffy said

"Wag kang magkulong dito sa cabin mo at kumain ka na rin. Sabi ni Cassie hindi mo pa kinuha yung dinner stub mo. Breathe some air outside, halos wala naman nang tao kasi almost three na" Alfonso said

"Sige lalabas na rin ako maya-maya. Baka magalit si Cassie kapag ini-snob ko yung dinner. Sa upper deck ko na lang hihintayin yung call ni Athena" Raffy said "By the way, si Felicity?" Raffy asked

"Sinabihan ko na magpahinga na, tama na muna ang pag-inom at lasing na eh. I told her that you'll just see her tomorrow. Tapos na yung third set ng banda so malamang by this time nasa cabin na nya yun" Alfonso said

"Ok, bukas ko na lang sya kausapin" Raffy said

"Magpapahinga na rin ako, magkita na lang tayo mamaya" Alfonso said

"Sige Captain, I'll see you later at salamat, maraming salamat" Raffy said

"Maliit na bagay" Alfonso said then closes the cabin's door

Raffy took Alfonso's advice to breathe some fresh air. After instructing Chef Cassie to serve his late dinner.  Raffy went straight to the upper deck where there are still very few guest staying at. The sea breeze helps to calm his mind and heart.  In his mind, if only Charmaine knows about his relationship with Athena it will not be that hard for him because Charmaine knows exactly how to deal with her sister. He wasted his time surfing on a possible gift that he could send to Athena in addition to the flowers that he sends to her in school.

He was already alone in the upper deck when he receives a message from Athena telling him that she is already free for a video chat. Raffy quickly gets on-line and in a few minutes Athena accepted his invitation to chat.
