Chapter Eleven

Athena could not enjoy their visit to Classic Remise Dusseldorf, the thought that Thirdy sees Raffy in the airport plus the change of plan to go to Switzerland instead of Belgium causes her uneasiness. It's been more than five hours already since she sends her message to Raffy but he has not replied to it yet which makes her more worried.

"Are you alright Sweetie, seems like you are not enjoying this museum. Pasensya ka na, yung mga itineray natin puro pang Thirdy" Dei said

"I'm alright Mom. A bit sad because we cancel our trip to Belgium, excited pa naman ako sa Chocolate Museum, at saka sa Musical Instrument and Royal Museum" Athena replied

"Would you like me to talk to Daddy para matuloy tayo sa Belgium?" Dei asked which makes Athenas eyes widens and glow "You don't have to answer sweetie, nakita ko na sa mga mata mo yung sagot" Dei said

"But it would cost us more, we already cancelled the flight to Belgium" Athena sadly said

"I haven't cancelled it yet, I plan to do it later this evening" Dei replied. "But I could not promise that I could convince Daddy to push with the Belgium trip. However, I promise to try" Dei said.

Though Athena is still worried because Raffy have not replied to her message her mood lightens after her brief talk with her Mom. Their trip itinerary did not bother her when she learned about how tiring it would be as long as she is spending quality time with her family. But everything differs when Raffy suddenly appears at her door steps and professes his love for her. Now, things seem to be more complicated.

The whole family is back in the apartment in the evening. Dei instructed her children to get ready for the trip to Amsterdam the following morning.

"Make sure na walang makakalimutan ha" Dei reminded them

"Where are we going in Amsterdam Mommy?" Thirdy asked

"To your Ninang Donna my prince. She is very excited to tour you in the Science Museum. We are going to De Gooyer Windmill and National Maritime Museum too" Dei explained to thirdy

"Museum again?" Thirdy exclaimed which makes Athena and Charmaine laugh

"You are not allowed to go to the bar yet Thirdy, so you have to settle with the Museum. Wait until you get old" Athena said.

"How old Ate Athena?" Thirdy asked

"Probably, when you reach the age of eighteen" Athena replied.

"But I am only four" Thirdy said.

"Then you have to wait fourteen years more" Charmaine said

Thirdy pouted and runs to Dei "Are we not going to Disneyland Mommy?" he asked

"Well there is this theme park in Amsterdam which they call Efteling. Your Ninang Donna promised to bring you there the day after tomorrow" Richard replied. Thirdy's face lightens upon hearing about the theme park. "So you need to rest early tonight, the car which we rented will arrive by nine tomorrow morning" Richard added

"Can we have the family trip longer next time, this is the most tiring trip we ever had" Charmaine said.

"It's Daddy's idea not mine" Dei replied

"Nandito na rin lang tayo, why not take the opportunity. By the time na lumuwag ang schedule ni Athena, malamang iba na ang likes ni Thirdy and mahirapan na tayong mag sched ng trip because Thirdy will start his school next year" Richard replied

"Sige na kids magpahinga na kayo, two hours drive din ang Dusseldorf to Amsterdam" Dei said

"I will sleep with you Mommy" Thirdy said.
