Chapter Seventy Nine

Raffy got surprise when he is about to press the doorbell then the small gate suddenly opens and Athena came rushing and gently bumps in to him.

"Raphael" Athena exclaimed and immediately hugs him.  Raffy felt some relief after obtaining that tight hug from Athena.  His anxiety lessens as he knows that this is the chance for him to explain his side to her majesty.   
"Where are you going? Gabi na ah" Raffy asked while he hugs her back

"To you, because you are not answering my call" she replied and Raffy pulls off from hugging and he saw tears starting to stream down her cheeks

"I am charging my phone kaya iniwan ko na lang" Raffy said while he is wiping Athena’s tears

"Akala ko galit ka sa akin kaya hindi ka sumasagot" Athena said

"That will never happen. Are you ready to talk to me?" Raffy asked

"Yes I am" Athena replied still sobbing.

“I know, it is already midnight but I hope we can talk kahit sandali lang, just for our peace of mind” Raffy said

“Let’s get inside” Athena said and pulls Raffy going inside the house

“Tulog na ba si Charmaine?” Raffy asked

“I hope so, kakarating lang nya eh.  I really wish makapagpahinga naman sya. Grabe ang pagod nya sa pag-asikaso sa Daddy at sa dinner gathering tonight” Athena replied

Athena suggested that they just stay in the garden. “Are you sure ok lang na dito tayo sa labas, maginaw dito” Raffy said

Athena swiftly puts her arms around Raffy “Yes I am sure and I know that it is cold here outside.  Mabuti nga yun so that I have the reason to hug you like this.  Wala pa akong hug from you today” Athena sweetly said which makes Raffy smiles and hugs her majesty back.   

“I’m sorry I make you upset” Raffy apologizes

“I’m sorry too because I jump into conclusion.  I should have not listen to that Jade the bitch.  Nasira tuloy ang gabi ko” Athena said “Kasi naman eh, ok na dapat nung sinabi ni Ishi that she saw Jade grabs you for a kiss.  Kaso biglang may revelation na that was not the first time that you kiss”

"I did not initiate that either" Raffy said as if confirming that such kissing incident did happen before.

"So it did happen" Athena said though she remains hugging her knight in shinning armour.

"Yes and I am no denying it. That was the time when Jade told me that she was falling in love with me" Raffy admitted

"Hmmmm .... really? What did you tell her" Athena asked

"I told her the truth, I said I am already in love with someone. She actually thought that it was Charmaine" Raffy said

"I can't blame her, lovable ka naman talaga" Athena said and she started giggling

"Am I forgiven?" Raffy asked

"Kung sinagot mo yung phone mo, kanina mo pa nalaman na forgiven ka na" Athena replied

"Kung hindi ka nag walk out, hindi na sana tayo inabot ng ganitong oras clearing thing out, napuyat ka tuloy" Raffy said

"Nawala ka kasi bigla, san ka ba pumunta? Feeling ko nga ikaw ang nag walk out eh" Athena asked

"Hazel and I went out ang hina kasi ng signal sa loob eh. Kinausap ko kasi yung caretaker ng resort nila para sa reunion nyo ng high school friends mo. We were checking on the available dates before New Year. Unfortunately after New Year pa ang availability ng resort" Raffy explained

"I am actually thinking na wag na kaming tumuloy because of Dad's condition. Alagaan ko na lang siguro si Daddy" Athena said

"Are you sure?" Raffy asked

"Yes I am, maybe we will just dine out after Christmas" Athena replied

"Bawal pa ring isama ang boyfriend?" Raffy asked

"Bawal pa rin" Athena replied

"Ang lungkot naman" Raffy said pouting.

"But we can have coffee after. I will be happy kung susunduin mo 'ko" Athena said that brightens Raffy's face.

"Ihahatid din kita" Raffy said

"No need, sasabay na lang ako Bettina" Athena said

"It's already late your majesty, get in and rest. Ihahatid na lang kita tomorrow sa hospital. Mom is asking me to go with her for her last minute Christmas shopping" Raffy said "Sunduin na lang kita after that"

"Speaking of Christmas shopping. Wala pa akong gift para sa yo, hindi pa ako nakakapag christmas shopping" Athena said

"Don't buy me anything, I want something else" Raffy said

"Sige nga what Christmas gift do you want?" Athena said "Tell me na lang kesa mahirapan pa akong mag isip"

"I wish to have a three days vacation in Singapore with you your majesty, before you go back to Germany" Raffy said while Athena's eyes widens.
