Ch. 6: A Date With Death (Ming, Forth, & Pha Pov)

Ming Pov

This project was killing me. Why couldn't we do it later? It's not due for another month?! Like what the hell and I had to leave my precious Yo with that bastard!

My phone started vibrating.

"Ugh, who is it now?!" I groan.

I take out my phone from my pocket and see the caller id. It's Yo.

What happened? I wondered.

I answer the call "Hey Yo what's up?"

"M-ming. C-can y-y-you come g-get m-m-me?" Yo cried.

"What happened Yo?! Just tell me where you are and I'll come to pick you up!" I said.

"I-I don't know." He mumbled

"Just uhm share your location with me."

And he did. I looked at where he was and my eyes widened. I need to get over to him quick!

"Yo listen to me. You need to get away from there quickly. Please. I'll rush as fast I can over there but don't stay put. You're in grave danger." I told him.

I grabbed my keys and ran to my car as I was explaining to him that he was in a dangerous are a gang claimed territory and he needed to get out quick.

"I'll be there as quick as I can Yo. So please get to safety and I'll come to get you."

"O-okay Ming p-please h-hurry t-theres people coming closer to me." He cried out and the phone call was ended.

"FUCK!" I yelled out

With that, I quickly started driving to Yo's last location.

As much as I hated P'Forth right now for whatever reason that Yo was crying I needed his help.

To Forth: Head to this location NOW! Yo is in trouble! No questions just do it!

He replied within a matter of seconds.

From Forth: On my way now!

Phana Pov

I was driving back to my dorm as I saw that boy. I think Yo was his name? He looked like Wayo from high school but he looked different. He didn't have big glasses.

He was crying. I decided to follow him as he was running into the gang-related territory. I slowly drove following him closely. He eventually stopped at the park.

I saw that he grabbed his phone to call someone. What the other person on the line said to him got him into a panic. Now Yo seemed distressed.

He looked in a direction and slowly started walking away faster in the other direction he was staring at. Looking where he was staring I saw a large group of men walking towards him. I don't know what compelled me but I quickly got out of my car.

I needed to help this boy. I thought to myself.

I saw that the men had cornered him at the edge of the fence. Fear showed up in his eyes. I quickly ran to him. I saw that the men were about to violate him. One lifting Yo's shirt. I ran even faster and quickly striking the man who touched him.

"Off him you scumbags!" I yelled.

They all turned to me. A few of them charged right for me. While the others were taking Yo away.
