"Wakey Wakey my beautiful queen."
"I'll be the evil queen if you're trying to wake me up before I'm ready."
"Come on my love this is day one of getting to know me."
"I'm intrigued. Tell me more."
"I will once you're up and ready to go." I smiled at him and quickly pecked his lips before wrapping the bedsheets around me and going to the shower. After about a half hour I make it downstairs and am greeted by Damon and a blood bag. "You look beautiful."
"Well I didn't have a shirt so I borrowed one of yours and pulled on my jeans from yesterday."
"That shirt has never looked better."
"Oh shut up," I joke.
"What? You're breathtaking."
"My hair is in a messy bun and I'm wearing my glasses, what part of this is beautiful?"
"You're the definition of beautiful even on your lazy days." I kissed Damon softly on the lips as he licked the blood that was on my lips. "Now let's go." I'm dragged out to his car and he opens the door for me.

"Now can I know where we're going?"
"Right here." He pulled the car over on the empty street. I was confused as he went over to help me out of the car.
"Damon what is this? We're in the middle of nowhere."
"Take two steps to your left. Perfect." I'm standing on the free road as Damon positions himself in front of me too."
"What are we doing?"
"This my dear was the exact spot I met Elena in."
"Why start here?"
"You wanted to know more about me, so I thought we could start at the most important spot. I love you Sky with all that I am, but if you're going to marry me you should know I love Elena too."
"I know that babe, and I don't want to replace her in your heart."
"She was the most important thing that ever happened to me, until I met you. So I wanted to share everything I had with her, with you."
"Tell me everything that happened." He took my hand and told it like a fairytale. Elena was waiting for her parents to pick her up when Damon saw her. Damon was poetic in his words. What stood out in the story was him saying, "You want a love that consumes you; you want passion, adventure, and even a little danger." That melted my heart. Everything he described was exactly what I wanted, what I had with him. My heart leapt out of my chest and I threw myself into his arms. He was shocked at my suddenly outburst but smiled and embraced the kiss as it came.
"I love you my husband to be."
"I love you my one and only Sky."

"Damon these aren't my hiking shoes!"
"We're almost there." he takes hold of my hand and we find ourselves in a clearing within the woods. "Here."
"In the middle of nowhere?"
"This isn't just nowhere."
"Okay so why is this place significant in your life?"
"This is the exact spot where Stefan and my old house used to stand. We were raised in the big house with our abusive father and absent mother."
"Lily?"
"Yes and Giuseppe Salvatore. It was the same place we met Kathrine."
"Did you love her?"
"I thought I loved her, but I came to learn that it was all fake. She was a lying, manipulative bitch who should've died in the church fire. She's not the reason I brought you here. I wanted to take you back to my childhood and where I was turned into a vampire."
"Did you want to be a vampire?"
"When I thought I was in love with Kathrine I did want to turn for her. After that no. I couldn't picture I life without her until Stefan forced me to drink."
"Too afraid to live without you?"
"So he claims. Now I love being a sexy vampire who'll never age from his prime." A smirk tugs in his lips.
"I like being a vampire. I've felt the most control and free then I did as a human. It also mean I get to spend an eternity with the man I love."
"I'm not going anywhere baby."
"I'd say otherwise." A small set of hands snuck up behind Damon and snapped his neck. When he fell to the floor I came face to face with Hope Mikaelson. "Hello love." She then vamp sped over to me and snapped my neck.

I come back into consciousness in full panic mode. "Where am I?"
"Somewhere safe where no one can find you. It was a shame mum freed you. If only she'd known you'd be dead a couple of days later we wouldn't have waisted so much blood."
"What do you want from me? My blood is worthless since I'm dead."
"See when my father had Elena and he managed to get enough blood to create his army, I on the other hand only have one other of my kind. My uncle Kol and I have been working nonstop to create our new species with the magic we have again."
"I'm waiting for myself to come to play."
"You will be the ultimate sacrifice that will allow us to create more of us using a spell."
"Where's Damon?"
"Damon is being... interrogated."
"Why?" I panic knowing that an "interrogation" with her family meant torturing the answers out of someone.
"Kathrine stole a vital key for this ritual, and I believe Damon knows where it is."
"Why would he know?"
"He knew Kathrine the most. I assume he could find it if that meant he could save you. Little does he know that you're not going to be alive after this."

"Hope?"
"Daddy. What are you doing here?"
"Kol informed me of your whereabouts. I came to see if you needed help. Sacrifice maybe?"
"The only sacrifice will be our dearest Sky." Each Mikaelson gave their signature sadistic smirk.

~Damon's POV~

"Where is she?"
"Safe... for now."
"Helpful. Please just don't hurt her. I'll do anything."
"Perfect!" Hope struts into the room followed by Klaus. "So this is how it's going to go."
"Straight to the point love? I usually take the scenic route."
"I want it done now. You probably knew Kathrine the best. All her hiding spots, where she stored her belongings."
"What does Kathrine have to do with this?"
"She stole a family heirloom from us many many centuries ago," Klaus chimes in. "We need it."
"How am I supposed to know where it is?"
"It's a sapphire diamond ring."
"I had given it to here the eve before she betrayed me."
"How do you know she didn't sell it?"
"Kathrine would never sell something so expensive and beautiful as the ring. She knew it held great powers."
"I'll search day and night to find it only if you let Sky go."
"That's a problem Mr. Salvatore. As you can see we don't really trust you'll find the ring. Leave this as an incentive for you to work as quick as possible. Just to make sure you comply our hybrid friend here will escort you in your journey."
"Please don't hurt her."
"Fine we will not touch Skylar until you find what we need." Klaus came up close to my face. "You will find the stone and return with it immediately. No tricks." His eyes compelled me to do so.
"I will come here right away with the stone. No tricks."
"That's the spirit mate. Run along." I used my vampire speed to blast out with the hybrid on my tail.
