"She's going to turn him?"
"Probably! He claims to be in love with her. He can't! She's compelled him!"
"Or he loves her."
"No he can't!"
"Sky breath." I followed Damon's command.
"You love me."
"That's different."
"Serial killer vampire. Tried to kill you. Psychotic. We're like twins."
"No Damon you're not. You've got a soul."
"Sky why did you fall in love with me, knowing what I am and what I've done?"
"Because you made me feel alive, especially in death."
"Maybe that's how Danny feels with Hope."
"This is so dangerous though."
"It was for you too, and you actually died."
"What are you trying to tell me?"
"Seems to me that they really love each other. If someone told you to stay away from me, you'd kill them."
"Yeah..."
"It's his life."
"I don't like this."
"Of course not." I sat next to Damon on the couch and rested my head on his shoulder.

One Week Later
"Sky!"
"Tyler!"
"Where have you been?"
"Dealing with family stuff lately."
"Can I help?"
"It's fine Ty. Come on we have to meet Caroline."

Mystic Grill
"Alright time to get to business."
"Business I thought this was lunch."
"You didn't tell him?"
"We're planning the wedding!"I smile at Tyler.
"Why am I here?"
"Cause you're both my best friends."
"So?"
"So I want you both to be bridesmaids." Tyler stood up from the table. "Wait!" I grab his arm.
"I'm not a bridesmaid."
"Of course not. I want you to be my best man."
"Not how this works."
"Hey it's her wedding."
"Exactly So it works however I want." Tyler rolls his eyes but sits back down. "Great so of course Stefan is Damon's best man and Danny is a grooms men."
"Who's marrying you two?"
"Oh shoot it'd probably be Stefan because Damon married you two."
"That makes you the best man."
"True. Alright Tyler you're no longer needed here."
"Why not?"
"The boys are doing something 'manly' for the planning."
"Fine. Have fun you two." He hugged us both goodbye before walking out.

"Flowers?"
"Lilies. They're my favorite."
"Beautiful choice. Have you two set the date?"
"July 28th."
"Your birthday."
"What used to be my birthday. I don't age anymore, so might as well still celebrate the date."
"That's only two weeks away."
"We know."
"Why haven't we been planning sooner!"
"Should I recap the last couple of weeks?"
"Funny." She doesn't laugh. "We need a venue, dresses, catering!"
"Care, calm down. Look we're doing at the boarding house. The guys 'manly' planning is building an alter."
"Why aren't we supervising?"
"Damon said it's a surprise."
"How are you going to avoid it the next two weeks?"
"I'm not allowed over there until the wedding."
"That's crazy!"
"I know but I'm on very strict orders from the groom."
"That's even more crazy! A wedding is about the bride!"
"It's okay Care. I'm excited and love how into this Damon's being. You know I'm not that girly."
"So what are you in charge of exactly?"
"Flowers."
"That's it?"
"Damon has more experience, for lack of a better term, and has been around to try different types of food so we decided he'd be best fit at it since I'll eat anything set in front of me. He was persistent about building the alter, and we decided where it was going to be. Of course Stefan is marrying us, and our closest friends are our bridesmaids and grooms men. So the only thing left was flowers."
"I'm surprised he isn't picking out your dress."
"That's crazy, but he is sending over this seamstress that he's known for a long time to fix my dress."
"So this is Damon's wedding?"
"Don't be silly, it'll still be about me just not planned by me. Like hiring my fiancé to be the wedding planner."
"Fine then how about a rehearsal dinner or the after party?"
"Also done."
"What!"
"Rehearsal dinner is being thrown by my mom. That's my gift to her since she wanted to plan the wedding with me but I told her it was covered."
"How'd your parents take the fact that you two are getting married so soon?"
"Not so happy. They thought he was pressuring me into it or I was doing it for drugs. My dad was ready to fight Damon."
"I can imagine."
"Anyways the after party is going to be outdoors at the boarding house. Damon's getting some guys to set up the tables and stuff in the backyard. Front yard is where we'll be getting married."
"So today is?"
"Today is us grabbing lunch before we shop for dresses."
"You're going to try on food on a full stomach?"
"I'm a stress eater. The day of my wedding I guarantee I'll have four hamburgers and two dozen blood bags before hand."
"Noted."
"Also as my maid of honor you are in charge of feeding me when I'm stressed. Here's a list of comfort foods."
"All it says is blood."
"Exactly."
"Fine I'll make sure we stalk up."
"Great now dress shopping!"

Damon's POV
"No no no that goes over there!"
"Why are we setting up now if the wedding isn't for another two weeks?"
"Yeah it could rain and ruin it all."
"Would you both shut up and keep building."
"Hey guys."
"Finally someone with half a brain is here!"
"Damon you're like bridezilla right now."
"I swear I'll..."
"Hey stop it!" Tyler stops my hand from suffocating my little brother. "Why are you bugging so much?"
"This wedding needs to be perfect."
"It will be." Danny reassured me.
"I'm marrying the perfect girl and this is the last time I want to attend my own wedding."
"You and Sky are perfect for each other, it'll be amazing."
"You said that about Elena."
"She's here with you Damon. I know Elena will be standing up at that altar beside you as she watches you live your life. She's proud of you and the man you've become." Stefan encourages me.
"Who's Elena?" Danny questions and all of us look awkwardly at each other. Seems that no one told him the full truth about his sister. Tyler steps up and explains the story about her.

"I can't believe we got this all done in one day."
"Yeah and I only came when you three were almost done."
"My sister's going to flip when she sees."
"Alright thank you all for helping me with this but now we have to hide it in the cellar. Sky is not to see any of this until our wedding day."

Sky's POV
"I thought I wasn't allowed over here until the wedding."
"I can't keep you away that long."
"So are we living here once we're married?"
"It's the Salvatore boarding house. Of course we'd live here."
"I was just thinking about how I want to travel the world. We have an eternity, and I want to see everything."
"And we'll do that. Once we're done we have a home to come back to."
"But Mystic Falls?"
"You don't like it?"
"No I love it, but what if people start remembering us decades later and we haven't aged?"
"Stefan, Caroline, Tyler and I always find our way back here after generations have passed away."
"So much for a home."
"That's our life babe."
"Yeah, Okay."
"Come here." I walked over and snuggled into Damon's side on the bed. He spooned me the entire night. This was my life. Leaving home every few years so people done remember me and starting over. I could live with that... hopefully.
