Chapter 32

"Ready Karen?" Zach asked.
I nodded as i fixed my black lacey dress.
"Dont forget your Jacket"
"I'm wearing it Zach"
"Don't be nervous."
"Youre the one making me nervous"
"Y-"
"Zach leave her alone" Jeylin said as she rushed into the room with necklace. Jacky was slowly walking behind her, grabbing her bump to support herself.
The doorbell rings.
"Ill get it" Corbyn says.
"No!" We all shout but its too late.

Jonah's POV
The door opens and Corbyn is standing there with a baseball cap that reads '#1 Dad'
"Hello young fellow"
"Hey Corbyn is Karen home?"
"Who's asking?"
"Uh..me?"
"Hmm she is home. Why do you need her?"
"Knock it off Corbyn. I came to pick up Karen"
"I dont know any Corbyn. Im Karen's fake adoptive dad right now. So Listen here mister you better treat her with respect. Bef-"
"Fake Adoptive Dad? Im trying to go on a date" a voice behind Corbyn says. Corbyn steps to the side and Karen is standing there, looking as gorgeous as ever.
"Close your mouth buddy or mosquitoes will get in" Zach says as he pats me on the back.
I closed my mouth.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"Whoa whoa whoa. Wait a minute where are the flowers for the lady?" Zach asked. Oh shoot.
"They're at the house. I should probably go get them" I rushed toward our house and pull a couple of tulips out of the garder that Daniel had planted. Ill buy him new ones later. I dashed back to where they all were.
"Here you go"
"Wow thank you. You didnt have to" she said as her cheeks turned pink.
"Are you ready now?"
"No she's not. You have to come in first so we can have a little talk" Corbyn said as he oulled me inside. We sat all sat down in the living room. I wanted to ask Corbyn if he was serious but I already knew that he actually was. I took a deep breath as I began being bombarded with questions by both Corbyn and Zach.
"Where are you taking her?"
"We're going to City Walk"
"What are you going to do there?"
"Eat. Catch a movie. Walk around"
"Who are you going with?"
"With each other?"
"What type of transportation are you going to take?"
"Uber?"
"Whats 10 times 8?"
"80"
"What type of condoms do you have?"
"Uh.."
"Where are you going af-"
"Guys this is getting ridiculous. Can we please leave our Uber is outside"
"Fine" Zach said. Karsn stood up, grabbed my hand, and dragged me outside.
"USE PROTECTION KIDS" Corbyn shouted as we got in the Uber.
"Im sorry about them"
"Its all good. I had to deal with them too. The whole day."
I laughed and put an arm around her shoulder. She smiled which made me smile. This was going to be great.

2 and 1/2 hours later~

"That movie was hilarious" I laughed.
"It really was"
I opened the door of the movie theater for her and she stepped outside.
"What time is it?" She asked.
"Almost ten"
"Why? Is it passed your bedtime?"
"Actually Corbyn does make us turn off the lights at Ten so i have to pretend that im sleeping and then when I hear him snoring I turn on the light and stay up"
"Wow" I said as I took a sip of my leftover Blueberry Icee.
"Im having a great night honestly" she admitted.
"I am too. After four years my dream came true. Im on a date with you."
Her cheeks began turning a light shade of red. We sat down at a nearby bench and watched as people walked by. We stayed like that for a few minutes, only the noise of someone playing Jazz music could be heard.
"Karen?"
"Yes?"
"Can i ask you something I've always wanted to ask you?"
"Sure"
I looked over at her.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
She smiled.
"I will be honored to be your girlfriend."
She leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. A flash appeared. I covered my eyes.
"Oh shit" i muttered. I grabbed her hand  and walked quickly out towards the exit.
"Paparazzi?"
I nodded as I requested an Uber.
"Hey Jonah. Who's the new girl?" A voice said behind us. I could heard cameras clicking and I could see the lights flashing.
"So youre just going to ignore us now?"
"Just look at the ground. Ignore them." I whispered to Karen. She nodded and squeezed my fingers.
"Hey I know that girl. Isnt that the girl that went out with your bandmate Zach? What is she? A homiehopper or  Is she just another one night stand?"
That's it. I turned around and let go of Karen's hand. I punch the guy right in the face. He fell backwards on to the floor.
"Dont you ever disrespect her or any other girl like that. You stupid son of a bitch"
I grabbed Karen's hand again and pulled her into our Uber. She looked completely terrified.
"Shhh. Its okay baby. Now that youre mine. Im not going to let anyone say anything or do anything to you. I promise" i say as I pulled her into a hug.
