Dear Ivan,
Hope you and Sam are fine. Hope everything is going along nicely.
Ivan, we missed you a lot at Alex and Jake's engagement. It was so much fun but of course, you were missing.
I am writing here a short account of the event. First, the engagement took place and both of them were looking so perfect with each other. Jake wore a white tux and you know what he has also grown a bit of stubble. He actually looks quite handsome with the beard. Alex wore a peach dress.
Jake gave Alex a ring to mark the engagement. He was literally in tears when he put the ring on her finger. Alex was crying too. It was like they were meeting for the last time.
Jake vowed that he would protect Alex from all the bad and with that he proposed her. It was such a wonderful scene. After the engagement party had ended and the guests had left, Jake and Lawrence blindfolded all of us on our seats. When our blindfolds opened we were in a picnic environment. It was the best surprise ever. The engagement decorations had gone and the garden was transformed into a beautiful picnic spot. We had noticed a partition in the garden but what we didn't know that there might be something hiding behind it. We were awestruck. It was phenomenal. Alex was in tears again and Jake wiped her tears saying that he had robbed her of the right to cry.
I admit that we were a bit too much dressed up for the picnic but we really enjoyed it. We felt like we were back in London playing tag in the garden. We enjoyed a lot but I missed you so much. If only you could be with us and relive those moments.
They are getting married in a couple of weeks. I just hope everything works well for them. Alex has had enough of her share of pain. She deserves to be happy and get married just like you or anyone of us. Hope they both are happy with each other.
Anyways, wish you both a very happy parenthood. Hope everything goes well.
Wish you luck.
Alice
