Chapter 3 - Big News

Chapter 3.

Lukes POV.

We go into my mum's house hand in hand, we walked there, it was only about a 10 minute walk and it wasn't too late.

"Through here" I hear Beau shout from the kitchen, we walk in and everyone's sitting round the table.

"Hey guys" Kayla smiles, "where's your mum?"

"You don't have to leave, you can hear this too" Jai smiles, he gets up and kisses her on the cheek.

"Oh, you sure?" she says unsure.

"Yeah, of course" Beau confirms.

"Good" I say, putting two chairs together for us both to sit down. "So, where's the fire?"

"Jay Sean is sending round Ronnie, to talk to us all about something" James says as my mum comes through.

"Mum, I've got something to tell you" I stand up. She looks round and smiles when she see's me holding Kayla's hand. "Me and Kayla have to back together, this time it's going to work so I'm moving into her apartment" I hold my breath waiting for my mum's reaction.

"Well you're an adult now son, you're about to be a daddy, if you both think this is the right direction, then I'll stand by you, I'm really happy for you" she grins.

"Oh my god! The things we can do with that room Beau!" Jai laughs.

"Oi dickheads, I haven't even moved out yet!" I shout.

All the boys and my mum tweet about how happy they are for me and Kayla, I retweet them all. So many people are congratulating up telling us we're their OTP tagging old pictures of me and Kayla together. It's hard to wipe the smile off my face as I think about the next few months before our baby arrives.

Someone knocks on the door so Kayla gets up and answers it, I hear a faint "Hey Ronnie, Hey Mariam, the boys are through here" and they all come into the room and Ronnie and Mariam take a seat.

"Wow look at you" Mariam says to Kayla from across the table.

"I know" she smiles, "I'm not even half way through yet!"

"Don't be getting any ideas" Ronnie says to Mariam, we all laugh.

"So guys, I bet you're all wondering what Jay wanted?" Ronnie starts as we all nod, "well, he's pissed that you've put off LA, but he can understand why" Ronnie looks at Kayla, she gives my hand a squeeze, "so he's organized the tour you've been practicing for ... to be brought forward."

We all look at each other, we'd been rehearsing for the past 2 months for an upcoming tour, just different games and the three songs we'd produced.

"When to?" Skip voices the question that's in everyone's head.

"Tickets go on Sale tomorrow for gigs here starting in 3 days, one night in Melbourne, one in Sydney, then flying over to the UK for a couple of stops there. There's a gig every night for the next 3 weeks till you come back here." Ronnie looks for our reaction. "And yes, girlfriends can come"

We all look relieved and I look at Kayla, would she be able to come because she's pregnant?

"He won't take no for an answer guys, so up tomorrow for an all-day rehearsal getting ready. Promote it on twitter tonight guys, I've just emailed you all the link the tickets will be going up on at 9am tomorrow."

He and Mariam get ready to leave; Mariam hugs Kayla, "shopping soon, yeah?"

"Of course babe, you know me and shopping!" she giggles as Jai and Beau see them to the door.
