4:Gone...

Tris pov

It has been almost an hour when Christina went to go look for Tobias. I really hope he is okay and didn't do anything stupid since he thought I was dead. I don't think he would though, well hopefully not.

Right now I have doctors doing my paperwork and nurses giving me shots,pills, and filling my IV with some blue liquid. As the liquid flows through the tube connected to my arm and reaches my skin I wince. I could feel a little sting, almost like a bee, but all over my right arm instead of a little point. Then my whole arm goes numb and I feel no pain in my chest or anywhere for the matter.

I hear someone sniffling outside my door then they walk in, it is Christina

"What's wrong? Where is Tobias? God please tell me he is okay."

"He is alive Tris, but something is wrong"she pauses then looks directly into my eyes."He doesn't remember anything. I think when he thought you were dead he couldn't take the pain of losing someone so he thought about drinking the memory serum." Now she starts crying even more."and I..I came around the corner and was going to tell him your alive but accidentally ran into him causing him to swallow a drop. He would have stopped but it is my fault he drank it! He would have stopped and I think before he fell asleep losing his memory he heard me tell him your alive"

This make me start to tear up.

I start to lift my arms up so Christina can hug me. She runs over and sits on top of my legs while I am partially laying down. It hurts a little bit but the medicine the nurses gave me helps a lot

"Chris it is not your fault ,it was an accident" but I feel like it is her fault. I know deep down though it wasn't. "How far back does he remember"

"Last thing he said he remembers was waiting for the first initiate to jump down into the net"

Then it hits me like a train, hard. Tobias doesn't remember me and from this moment on he doesn't love me. "Oh" is all I manage I say before I burst into tears again. Christina hugs me tighter

"He fell in love with you once and I'm certain he can do it again."

"I need to go see him. Is he awake?"

"Yes but tris you are hurt, you need to rest"

"I will be fine. Now go get me a wheelchair and push."

Without a word she walks out the door and comes back in five minutes later with a wheelchair. I sit up and scoot off the side of my bed landing in the seat.Christina grabs the handles behind my head and pushes through the door, using my body. She steers me through a couple of hallways and stops in front of room 3B she ask "Are you sure you want to go in there?"

"Of course... I love him and I need him to fall in love with me again."-

....................

So I know this chapter was short but I loved it. the way Tris is determined to make Tobias fall in love with her again. Oh an I really like doing these shorter chapters. I think i

write better in shorter chapters but I will also have a lot more:) thanks for reading and any suggestion are appreciated.
