27:Rings and Cheating

I went to bed thinking about Tris tattoo. I love her so much and I feel I should do something for her. Maybe I could take her on a so called date or something. I think if I did I would make it like our first date. On the 'bean' shaped statue with sparkly drink or whatever it was. I don't feel like that is good enough though. I want to have a date she would always remember not one that has happened twice already. I think I have the perfect idea though.
I just remembered. Tris an I are engaged, but she does not have a ring. I need to get her one then give it to her on our date. It will be perfect. How do I know what kind of ring she would like though. Who would know? I need someone with a sense of 'style' but not too much. Of course! Christina.
I get up from my bed while Tris is still sleeping. I throw on some jeans and slip out the door. Oh crap Tris will wonder where I am when she wakes up. I walk back into out bedroom, grab a pen and paper and leave her a note.
I hang it on the fridge and leave the apartment.
When I get to Christina's apartment I have to knock 9 times before she answers. When she finally answers she has messy hair, bad breath, and is in a long Tshirt and shorts.
"What would four want at 7 freakin 30 in the morning."
I give her a weird look and walk into her apartment. "I need a favor."
"No"
"You don't even know what it is yet."
"Fine what is it."
"I need help picking out a ring for Tris. I needed someone who knew Tris well but also had 'style'."
She shrieks "of course I will help you let me go get ready"
"Ok good hurry up."
I sit down on the couch and grab the remote for the tv. Before I can hit the power button though there is a knock on the door.
"Can you get that!" Christina yells from her bedroom.
I get up and walk to her front door. When I open it I see wide eyed Tris. I hope she doesn't find out why I came to get Christina.
"What are you doing here Tris?"
"I could ask the same?" oh god she thinks I'm cheating on her with Chrisitna. She walks away towards the elevator. I run after her. Before I can get her though the elevator doors shut her inside. I walk back to Christina's apartment to find her ready to go.
"Who was that?"
"Well Tris... she thinks I was just cheating on we with you."
She starts the laugh "god no"
"Am I that bad?"
"Well yes and no but let's get going. She will feel better sooner if we go and give her the ring ASAP."
We leave her apartment and the building. I have no idea where to buy a ring but obviously she does. I just follow her up a couple different streets and then we are there.
It's a small shop with different types of jewelry. We walk in and are greeted by a small old lady.
"Welcome can I help you find something?"
"Yes actually I am looking for a ring for my fiancé."
"Wonderful young love is so sweet. right this way."
"She leads us to a glass case filled with different rings. None of them catch either mine or Christina's eyes. Then at the same time we say "let me see that one"
Se pulls the ring out of the case and hands it to me. It is perfect. I look at Christina and she nods.
"I'll take it."
"Wonderful! that will be 1,199$"
I hand her the stack of money. She gives me back 3 bills and we leave. Now to set up our date

Ok so I will tell you whAt the ring looks like in Tris' pov. And this date is going to be so cute. Ok so does anyone remember when I was thanking you for 50 reads and I was like I thought this sorry would have like 3 well no.... I now have 995!!! Only 5 away from 1k! Thanks so much
