29:okay. Its a date

Tris pov

I get up and get dressed for this ridiculous "date" Tobias asked me on. Actually even though I say I don't want to go I am really excited.

I open up my enormous closet door and walk in. I don't want to be dressy but I also don't want to wear sweatpants and a shirt. So I put on a red v-neck, light blue skinny jeans, and my boots from dauntless. It is 5:45 so I decide to start walking towards the train. I wait for the last car and run next to it. I go to reach for the handle to pull myself in but a hands grabs me first. A very tan and muscular hand. That means Tobias. As soon as I am completely in the car he says

"Nice to see you could join me Tris."

"Always a pleasure. So where is this date taking place."

"Wait and find out."

The rest of the ride is silent besides a few minor comments about how the city is nicer now and things like that.

"Get ready to jump off soon tris."

"Ah ha Navy Pier."

"How did you ever find out." he says sarcastically.

I see Tobias jump and then seconds later I jump. Tobias ha a basket in his hand and barely held the insides in while he jumped. I saw a few food items peek out when he jumped.

"Follow me."

I follow him down the boardwalk until

We reach near the end. Of course the ferris wheel.

"Are you sure you want to climb tobias?"

"More sure than I've ever been."

I climb the ladder first. I already know where this date is going. We are going to have a picnic on the platform we once sat on.

Once we reach the top Tobias rips a blanket from the basket and rolls it out.

"I don't want to sit on cold metal."

I sit down and he takes all of the food items from the basket. It contained hamburgers, salad, strawberries, the fizzy drink we had on our first date, and of course dauntless cake. Next he pulled out plates, napkins, forks, and knives.

"Hamburgers?"

"Yes tris hamburgers. That was technically the first meal we had together."I laugh at the remembrance of that meal. I called him approachable. "So let's eat."

I go to grab some strawberries, but his hands smacks it away.

"No I am putting those on the cake later."

"Fine"

We eat our food. I am now accustom to eating hamburgers, but Tobias still makes fun of me for the first time I ate one.

"So Tris to make sure again the buns goes on top and on bottom correct?"

"Oh my gosh yes!"

"Okay good. And Tris, on a more serious note. You do realize I love you correct?"

"Yes of course. And do you know I love you to."

"Yes of course."

Then there was silence for a bit until

He said a small word. "okay?"

"Okay."

"Now let's eat cake. but you have to look away while I prepare it."

"Fine" I turn around.

I hear him searching through the basket. Then I hear the sound of a box closing. At first I thought it could

Have been the basket but it's not that kind of lid. Then I hear the sounds of strawberries being cut.

"Okay Tris look back around."

When I turn around he hands me a plate quickly. There is a medium sized piece of cake with sliced Strawberries on top. in between two of the slices is a shiny metal circle.

It has one large white diamond in the middle and smaller black diamonds lining the ring. I knew we were engaged but I never formally get a ring. This is it. Tears starts to form in my eyes. I grab the ring to look at it more closely. I see a small engraving on the inside of the ring. It's says "forever and always"

I slide it on my finger and look up at Tobias.

"Is this what you were doing with Christina?"

"Of course. I Love you too much to ever be with another girl."

I get up on my knees and lean forward onto my hands. I am kissing h

Now and he is trying to deepen it. Him grabs me by the side of my head and pulls me towards him. he goes onto his back and I follow on top of him. We are soon stripped from our clothing and under the blanket. It is a big enough blanket that we can lay on top of it with still some left over to cover us. We are

Soon done and just lay there staring up at the stars until we both doze off into a deep oblivion.

Oh my gosh so I just watched TFIOS last night and it was amazing. (That's why I made TFIOS quotes.(One of the greats. I want to do a sort of fan fiction now for it. If you haven't read the book or watched the movie, do it now. Anyway I loved this chapter! thanks for 1k reads guys:) I forgives maybe 3 people would read this.
