Tobias Pov

She said no. I thought she said she loved me? I feel hurt in my chest but still manage a nod. I stand up ad motion for her to do the same. When she stands I put my hand on her back and push her forward to follow me. I walk down a couple hallway and Tris says something
"You can let go, I figured out where we are going. The hotel."she smiles a little bit.
"Sorry, but I need to talk I someone and you should come." At that she grabs my hands for the next couple of minutes until we tech the double doors then let go of each other. I walk in until I see Caleb and then walk over to him
"I need you help Caleb."
"And what would that be"
"I need you to make me a serum to help me regain my memory."
" Actually I could possibly help. I've been working on one for a couple of days and have a few made out. I needed someone to test then out on and David would certainly not be my first choice. so come I lab 3 around 2:00."
Tris grabs Caleb and a surge of jealousy rushes through me. when she his him she says " I love you caleb."
"I thought you said you loved me" She laughs but I see this as no laughing matter.
"Oh Four I forgot. since you lost your memory you don't know me and Caleb are siblings. Sorry for the confusion"
I blush when she says this. why am I blushing? Tobias stop blushing I say in my head.
"Ya Tobias stop blushing" says Tris
"Oh sorry. Thought I was talking in my head"
The next few hours go through like a blur. Then before I know it I am rounding the corner to Lab 3. When I walk through the doors I only see Caleb.
"Have a seat"
I do as I'm told an sit down on this bed type thing that we used to have in the infirmary at dauntless.
"So first I am going to inject you with this serum. This is the serum I most likely predict will bring back you memory. I have to warn you though for the first five minutes of this will cause excruciating pain. Then you will forget everything for the rest of the day or until you sleep. which includes forgetting how to walk,talk,eat,tie your shoes, or anything besides how to breathe and sleep. Then when you first fall asleep all the memories you had will come back to through a dream. You might feel a little nauseated when you wake up but you will remember everything. ok?"
This was all so long and I zoned out when he said "warn"
"Okay four?
"Yeah sure lets just get my memory back."
Caleb jabs the needle in my neck and waits. For the first thirty seconds I feel nothing then it hits me all at once. It feels like someone is ripping my limbs off one by one. I have never felt this pain so much before. I start to scream. I hear Caleb tell me the calm down but I can't. I'd rather be shot twenty times then feel this again.
The pain stops all at once. I just fall back like a rock and can't move. just breathe. what is going on. Where am I. I decide to do both I things I know how to. I start to breathe heavily and sleep.
Then I dream. It starts out with Tris falling Into a net with me grabbing her, then the Ferris wheel again, then the dauntless are fighting abnegation under a simulation, then my mother is alive, then this lady named Edith prior reveals the truth, then we ride outside of the city, then I stop my parents from killing each other, Then cars tells me about Tris and I lift a serum bottle up to my mouth, then I wake up.
