Chapter 23-Mind Over Matter

"So the girl in her own shadow finally comes into the light," Endeavor taunted as you irked while keeping a fake smile on.

"And the second-placed fire detector finally gets out of that conceded shell that I call ego and pride," You hissed back as Endeavor irked about being called "Second Place"

"(F/N) You don't need to-" Todoroki began till you interrupted him.

"Sorry Shouto I know this is your fight and all, but could you leave us alone for just a bit. I want to end this as soon as possible so I don't miss too much of Izuku's match," You fluently said as you gave Shouto a cold glare, as he jumped and he nodded while leaving you and Endeavor alone.

"You got some nerves talking to me," Endeavor began as he you smirked.

"I've been wanting to kill you the day since I was captured,"You flaunted as you crossed your arms,"But apparently I can't do that or else I'll be kicked out. And I've come to like this pathetic little hero school,"

"Ha! You? Ever achieving anything at a hero school? Keep having those nightmares brat," Endeaver insulted as he said again,"A villain like you doesn't belong here,"

"And a horrible man like you doesn't deserve to have a son like Shouto," You spat back, shutting Endeavor up.

"You say you made him to take All Might's place," You hissed as you gave him an eerie smile,"But that just means you're too weak,"

Endeavor growled as his bodied flames roared,"How dare you, you ignorant child! You have no authority to talk about that rebellious boy!"

"And you do? Let's see..," You trailed off,"Quirk marriages are a fascinating thing, huh? Poor girl. Didn't even get a chance to protest about marrying a flaming piece of trash like you before you paid off her family and rendered her insane till you had your 'perfect child'"

"What do you care? I know about you. You were just some street rat who was discarded and thrown away!" Endeavor boomed as you could hear roars of fire being lit from outside.

Ugh..His match is starting soon...

"I may have been thrown away, but at least I made them regret that. You'll regret ever treating Shouto the way you did because even someone as low as me thinks he deserves better than what he gets from you," You spat as you continued as you began to walk away, leaving an infuriated Endeavor.

"And remember this Endeavor. Your greatest creation may soon be you're worst enemy so watch out because I'll be there..waiting to attack from the sidelines when I need to..watching as that enemy uses his full power,"You had a smug face as you turned to the hallway where the waiting rooms would be.

I was going to side with Shouto, but...

You had an intense look as you could feel Endeavor walk away from the straight hallway you walking down as you turned a corner.

I believe...That he'll never get anywhere with his fifty percent-..!

You felt taken back as you stepped back to support your self as you felt a heavy body weight lay against you.

"Thank you," Todoroki said as he embraced you. You blushed as you smiled, but avoided any gaze of him.

At least he didn't realize about that thing I said with his power...

"You're welcome Icy Hot," You laughed as you rubbed soothing circles on his back as you pulled away, still holding arms,"But you need to get to your waiting room idiot. You have a match coming up,"
