With that song being over and done with, I could see Freddie and Charlie skimming through the music choices for a song to play next for everyone, so with a slight smirk now coming to my expression, I knew that it was my time to go through with a slight plan of my own. "I'll be right back, Hyde, stay here," I remarked to the hellhound, who raised an eyebrow at me as I shifted into my feral form and padded through the sea of tables as I made my way over to the two brothers that were busy on the laptop. "I don't know, man, what should we do for the next song? Another cliche tango song or something more spicy?" The black-furred tomcat asked the smaller sibling who tapped his chin slightly as he grazed through the various videos on YouTube to choose for their next little piece to play for everyone in the manor. "How 'bout 'Take Me to Church' by Hozier?" Charlie suggested and Freddie shook his head, "Boring and a bit outdated, don't you think?" He said and the white-furred male rolled his eyes as he went to the next song that caught his eye on the list, "What about 'Animal' by Chase Holfelder?" However, right before the older male could comment on that song, I appeared beside them with narrowed eyes. "Are both of you aware that you are going through the NSFW playlist on Spotify?" I said to them with a slight hiss, which made them both jump and look at me with widened expressions. "What's NSFW?" Charlie asked and I put a paw to my face, giving a slight sigh and shooing the two anthropomorphic felines away from the computer, "You are too innocent and young to know what that means yet, let me choose the next song." I said to them and they both nodded, "Yes, mistress!" They both said with tiny salutes that made me roll my eyes as I shifted into my human form and sat down in the chair at the table, scrolling through the playlist on the wide, brightened screen before us. "The tango song was very good, boys, and I give you credit for that, but I know just the thing to add some extra spice to this event and maybe even a laugh or twin the process," I remarked to the two males as they now seemed to look over my shoulder as I hovered my mouse cursor over the song that I had on my mind to choose for the next one now.
"I have to admit that the dance that Piper performed with that one male, I think I heard his name was Hiro, was pretty impressive," Beck mentioned to the canine-hybrid as the two of them sat at one of the many tables that were scattered around the large ballroom. There were plates in front of both of them with deliciously tantalizing food. Henry, of course, was busy snacking on Prime Rib that I had put out specifically for him because I knew that it was his favorite, although unlike Ryuu, I did not put a sign out because of obvious reasoning if you knew my characters. The raven-haired male gave a slight laugh and held back saying anything rude, instead politely agreeing. "It was a nice way to start out the dance." He simply said, while in his mind, he was simply jealous that he couldn't do such a thing as that with Beck. What not many people knew was that Henry knew how to dance, and I mean, really dance. Rebecca, of course, was the only one who knew this about him and had helped him keep it a secret from everyone, including his own boyfriend. Why would he hide something like this? Which is most likely what you are asking yourself right now, beloved reader, and I'll tell you. Ever since the hellhound had become apart of a homosexual relationship with Beck, it was no secret that the male was seen as the more feminine one in their relationship - from his whining to his easily jealous emotions. He hated it. Henry hated how they saw him as some femboy, even though Beck couldn't care less what people thought of them. With dancing, that just gave them another reason to see him as some female. He was a hellhound, damnit! A spawn of hell and a strong wolf that had the power of commanding fire! Henry knew that he was putting too much thought into this and yes, there were cases of dancing with men and they looked quite attractive while doing so, but Henry was also a bit self-conscious when it came to things like this. "You want me to get you some more food?" Beck's voice broke him from his thoughts, making Henry meet eyes with the kind smiling male from across the table. "No, I'm fine." Henry muttered under his breath, "I should probably stop eating before I get fat or something." His remark made the brown-haired male laugh and it did not help the hybrid's self-conscious case. "You shouldn't have to worry about something so ridiculous, have fun tonight and eat all you want." Beck said with a smile, "Besides, I know how much you love chocolate - are you absolutely sure you don't want me to get you a piece of fudge?" Damn him for knowing his weakness was all that went through his head, making him glance down at his empty plate as he gave a low, rumbling sigh and leaned back in his chair. "Make it two." He mumbled and with a smile, the taller male went off to fulfill his boyfriend's needs. Beck didn't honestly mind Henry's frustrated personality, often finding him adorable when he was in a sour mood and knowing how to cheer him up.
