I'm going to put a small warning here beforehand that this chapter contains attempted sexual assault/rape that involves slight violence, but trust me when I say it's not that graphic and it is over quickly before it even gets into anything serious.

As the blissful night continued forth, there was many more dances between the creatures of the manor from tangos to the waltz, where every single one of them was truly a sight to behold by everyone around the manor. Everyone shared laughs and intimate moments between each other all while enjoying delicious food served by yours truly and I couldn't be happier with the characters that I created over the years. However, in the back of my mind, I couldn't help but anticipate the finale of this night, where many things would be happening that would surely shape that future of these hybrids and ferals. Despite this though, as I watched the felines, such as Flintheart and Redfeather, get along with the members of the manor, like Hyde and Amber, without any drama or arguing, I felt truly stress-free for the moment. The human world that I lived in was a cruel and terrible place that I wanted no part of and I will continue to avoid that part of my life for as long as I could. I was happy here, happier than any day that I had shared in the human world with anyone. Well, as I say this, I suppose that isn't completely true. There was one human in the other world that was not like the others, but this was not the story for him to be mentioned in. Nonetheless, that person was among the stars right now and I hoped that they were looking down at me with a smile as I watched all these creatures have the night of their lives. It was getting late within the hour here and I was already noticing how some of them were becoming a bit tired of all the dancing and socializing. I had already offered the guests of the manor to stay the night here and leave the very next day so they could rest up and at least have a nice breakfast with us before they all returned home until next time we would hold an event like this and it would not be a one time thing, I knew that for certain, but perhaps, instead of a dance it could be something different? Like a picnic out in the forest or a movie night in the theatre room of the manor? The possibilities were simply endless. I decided to stop myself however from thinking too far ahead now. When I did things like that, it mostly always led to useless worrying and distractions that would keep me from the good moments at the present time. With the quiet music in the background and the sounds of laughter and content chatter around me seemed to ease any worrying thoughts that did try to bother me. It was all just a patient waiting game in my head for the minutes that now passed me by, wondering when it would be the right time to set into motion Henry's plan and bring forth a new generation of Feral Plain's manor. I shook my head, allowing myself to smile and take a sip of water as I now turned my attention elsewhere as the party went on as normal.

"I'm gonna take a quick restroom break," The canine-hybrid remarked to his boyfriend as he stood up from his chair, "You stay here and make sure nobody steals my food." This made the taller male utter a softened chuckle and give a slight nod. "I'll protect it with my life." He swore, putting a hand on the center of his chest as a jokingly serious expression appearing on his face, which made Henry roll his eyes and shake his head with a sigh leaving him as he walked away from the table and headed out of the ballroom. The softened, relaxing music that had been playing through the large twin speakers slowly became more and more faded as the raven-haired male made his way down the spacious hallway to one of the multiple bathrooms that were in the mansion. Now, you may be picturing a normal single bathroom that would be in a house that could accompany one person at a time, but honestly, when you had more than five creatures of all sizes and standards, there had to be some unique additions to their living arrangements. While Rebecca had been kind enough to give them a restroom in their rooms, she had also put the occasional multiple stalls and sink bathrooms for the few that did not wish to trek all the way back to their designated room when they wished to take care of business and whatnot. As Henry continued down the hallway, his bushy tail swishing back and forth behind him, he couldn't help but have this uneasy feeling creeping up his spine with every step that he now took. Just out of paranoia, Henry even turned sharped around for a moment to look behind him and down the hallway, but there was nobody there. "The last thing I need right now is one of those goddamn episodes.." The male muttered under his breath, brushing a hand through his darkened hair before continuing on his way. By episodes, the canine-hybrid was simply talking about the usual nightmares that he had on a regular basis when he was alone or when it was storming outside. These nightmares would often occur when he slept, but there was a rare occasion now and then when his fears began a reality and made him see things that weren't actually there. Rebecca, Hyde and even Beck knew about the nightmares that caused the canine-hybrid uneasy and horrified feelings, but never did he truly tell them about how he would see visions when he was awake. These hardly occurred though, so he knew that he was most likely worrying about nothing and just feeling a bit off because for once in a long time, Henry was alone with his thoughts - not even his older brother to accompany him for the time.
