"Excuse me," I scoffed as I gave a slight shove to some student who was standing in front of me. I couldn't tell you who they were, nor did I care. They were simply in my way.

Liana, who was beside me, began to laugh as she shoved the same person again into the lockers. Jacy and I began laughing in loud bursts as the rest of the students moved to the side, giving us a clear path. I flipped my long, golden blonde hair and winked at a jock walking by. He smirked back, and I bit my lip as I gestured for Liana and Jacy to follow me.

Liana, the dumb blonde who did anything I said. I could've told her to jump off a skyscraper and she would ask me where I wanted her to land. However I felt like I was losing Jacy, the petite girl with short black hair. She didn't strive to impress me like Liana did, but I knew she'd stick around. She had too. If she left me, I would make the whole school hate her. And she knew I had the power too.

"Looking good, Peyton," John Klas, the captain of the football team said with a wink my way.

I blew him a kiss and continued my way down to the cafeteria. I held up a hand, my way of telling Liana and Jacy to stop walking. They did so, and I quickly scanned the lunch room for a table. I smirked, coming across one with three nerds sitting awkwardly on the benches, all of them sucking on their juice boxes.

I let out a cackle, snapping my fingers so Jacy and Liana would follow. I stomped right up to the nerd's table, slamming my fist down on the wood, causing them all to jump out of their skin. I laughed, "Don't wet your pants now. Come on, scatter."

They all stared at me with their nerdy glasses. I sighed, picking at my fingernails, "I feel like this school is full of idiots. Get off of my table," I snapped, pointing my finger towards the door.

The nerds all swallowed, and one began stuttering, "B-b-but--"

"But I don't care," I said as I fluttered my eyelashes. I reached towards the stuttering one and snatched their tray, tossing it across the tile floor.

"Go fetch," I said with a smirk.

The three stood up and awkwardly raced to another table on the other side of the lunchroom. I smiled, smoothing out my black mini skirt and ruffled red blouse as I sat down on the bench.

"Liana," I said with a smile, "Do me a favour and fetch me a water. Thanks."

She nodded quickly and jetted off to the cafeteria line. I cleared my throat and pulled out my hand mirror, staring straight back into my bright blue eyes. I applied a layer of lip gloss and snapped the mirror shut.

"Hey, gorgeous," the words were whispered into my ear as lips pressed against my cheek.

I sighed as I spun around to face Drew, my current boyfriend who was on the football team as well as the basketball team. I smiled a fake smile and placed my hand on his shoulder, "Oh Drew, I'm so sorry to say, we're over."

I spun back around, hearing a stuttering Drew behind me. I nodded my head towards him, gesturing for Jacy to get rid of him. She gave me a slight glare, but she stood up and pulled Drew away from my table. I licked my lips, looking around impatiently for Liana.

"Here you are, Peyton," she blurted as she was suddenly right beside me.

I flinched a little, "Liana, sweetheart, I appreciate the effort, but I would like sparkling water." I smiled, handing her back the bottle. She nodded, running back to the lunch line.

"Peyton!"

I flinched and my eyes widened as four blurs of blonde ran at me. They all slipped onto the bench in front of me, smiles lighting up their faces.

"Yes, Emma?" I asked with a sigh.

She began giggling, the other three joining in. I sighed, "Either get the words out or get out yourself," I said softly.

They immediately stopped laughing. Emma cleared her throat, "We heard Drew sobbing in the bathroom," she said, and then they all began giggling again.

I smiled, "Oh please, as if he wasn't expecting it. He got me in bed, I did what he asked. I'm over him," I said with a shrug.

The girls sighed with envious looks in their eyes, "Why can't we be as powerful as you?" Emma asked.

I grinned, looking at the girl with a pleasing look. I leaned forwards, "Emma, dear. You are such a nice puppy dog," I said with a smirk, "I'll even invite you to my party this weekend."

With that I handed each of the four girls an envelope badazzled in pink sparkles. These were my party invitations that I handed out monthly. The first Friday of every month was Peyton Lemming's party day, and everyone knew that. Her jaw dropped, and I watched with pleasure as the four girls scurried away squealing. I yawned, getting to my feet and calling for Jacy to follow me.

"Oh!" Liana yelped from behind, shuffling to catch up to us.

I passed table after table, my chin held high, enjoying all the envious looks from the girls, and the look of lust in all the guy's eyes. I smirked, scanning the tables for a new contestant in my games. I stopped dead in my tracks, noticing a boy sitting at the far table all by himself. I grinned, a new guy. I walked quickly towards him with Liana and Jacy on my heels.

"Ooh! Let me do this!" Liana said, storming up to him and pounding his table with her fist.

I swallowed, not even hearing Liana's insult to the new kid. I was too busy glancing him over. He was certainly not a jock, but he wasn't a nerd, either. His tassled brown hair fell just above his golden brown eyes, and he had that shy look about him, but somehow he also looked confident. Liana and Jacy began laughing, the boy still looking down at his lunch.

"What's your name freshmeat?" Liana spat.

He sighed, "Aiden Jackson."

Liana and Jacy laughed and began to walk away, discussing Liana's perfect insult. I swallowed, frozen in place. Aiden Jackson looked up at me, his golden eyes catching mine. I looked away, putting a smirk on my face, not about to be taken as vulnerable.

I rolled my eyes, "Good luck, AJ."

I walked away, biting my lip as I realized I had just given him a nickname. I looked back at him, finding him still staring at me. I quickly looked straight, and suddenly a feeling rised up inside of me that I had never felt before.

What was it called? Oh yes..

Guilt.
