It's been three weeks since we've met the band and I must say, I've had so much fun. After our private practice session, we've gone to the zoo, coffee shops, concerts and, most importantly, The Comet Cafe. The little restaurant has been our stomping ground for the past month and we act like we own the joint. Business has been slow lately, but that just gives us more time to mess around. We drink the sodas from the tap, dance on the bar, hop from booth to booth. We're like delinquents when the place is empty.

We all get along so well. Lucy and Zeke have gone on their first couple dates, after we forced them to. They're a really cute couple and always have their fingers intertwined or lips locked. The latter is not appreciated in public. I know Luce really cares for him because he is all she talks about lately. Literally. The "Before Zeke" Lucy used to talk about new bands, fashion trends and her dysfunctional family. Now, it's Zeke, Zeke, and, you guessed it, more Zeke.

At first, Lucy was scared. She had talked to Peter about it and he totally flipped out. Peter was so mad at her for going out with "some guy" that she "barely knew". What Peter didn't know was that they had spent almost every waking moment together since that first snuggly hug. We were all convinced he was jealous, that he liked Lucy, and wanted to be with her.

April took matters into her own hands, like usual. She forced him to explain himself. He spilled everything. He said to her that he didn't like Lucy in that way. He also said he was just scared Lucy would be too busy hanging out with her boyfriend to even talk to her old childhood friend, Petey. Lucy and Peter talked it out and they're all good now. Sometimes he even plays basketball with the guys on weekends.

School was officially over, as well. I'm so excited for senior year, but also don't want this summer to end. I know it'll be over before I know it and both groups will be so busy with school that we'll forget about each other. I never want to forget about Alex.

Is it bad that I practically melt when I see him?

We've gotten closer, too. Mainly for my benefit. I started working at The Comet Cafe a week and a half ago. Alex was assigned to help me train. Right now, I'm just waitressing, nothing too complicated. I remember the day Alex called me in for my training. I arrived to the empty restaurant with no sign of anyone being there. All of sudden, Alex screamed and was directly in my face. I jumped, frightened at the scare.

"See, that's the kind of stuff you have to prepare for in a restaurant," He said to me, with his bright eyes shining. He was so close to my face I could smell him and see the brown speckles in his hazel eyes.

I laughed, putting my hand on his shoulder. "I'm pretty sure this is a cafe, not a haunted house."

He quickly glanced at my hand and then back to my face. "Whatever, Jules."

Jules. Isn't that cute? He insisted on calling me that all the time after we all slept over at this house. Not in a sexual way. We just all watched movies and talked until late snuggled up in his living room. I personally loved it because everything smelled like him. I almost stole a blanket or something to keep, hoping it would keep that smell of Alex.

We just finished watching the first Die Hard and were on the discussion of nicknames. We decided April doesn't have any, except for Ape, which is unfortunate. Katie mentioned that they sometimes called me Jules and Alex nudged me on the shoulder.

"I like that." He said, almost quietly, as if it was a secret. "I'm gonna call you that." I giggled, like a 6th grader with a major crush. But, I guess I am. I won't try and deny it because I'll have no luck there. I really like Alex and every time I see him, the feelings grow.

Today was Saturday and my dad finally has gotten more jobs lately, so he was out and about, working on some plan for a house or whatever. I didn't have any shifts to work, so he instructed me earlier to babysit Scarlet, although she's already 12, going on 13. She and I are sat on the couch, watching CSI or some bad cop show.
