Ice.
That was all he could think about. Whether it was a frozen lake, or just an ice cube, he could never stop thinking about it. It was not his fault after all, that's just how the system worked. Izuku Midoriya glanced down at the tattoo on his wrist. "Ice," he muttered, reading the word that was on his skin.
I still can't believe my soulmate's first word to me is going to be just "Ice." Why just Ice?
It was his first day attending UA, a school where he would be training to become a hero. Although he was mainly focused on learning and training, he thought this would be a good opportunity to possibly bump into his potential soulmate.
He had always been interested in the soulmate system, but would try his best to hide it. Whenever his mother would ask him about finding his soulmate, he would get embarrassed and ignore the subject. Deep down though, he would ramble and ramble about it.
After a few minutes of walking, he arrived at his destination. He was a nervous wreck. He was slightly sweating, and he couldn't help but mutter all of his thoughts. Midoriya was too busy worrying that he didn't even notice where he was going, and tripped. He thought it was all over, until his body suddenly landed against something cold. Extremely cold. He looked up, and there he saw a boy.
A boy with half red-half white hair, two different colored eyes, and a scar on his left eye.
