4 ~ The Realization

As soon as Midoriya got home, he ran straight to his room. Of course, he did all this after greeting his mother, and quickly told her about his day. He left out the part about finding his soulmate, though. He wasn't exactly in the mood to be questioned about it since he barely knew anything about what was going on. When he entered his room, he stood in one place for a few minutes just thinking.

After his brain allowed him to process everything that happened throughout the day, he began to pace around his room and muttered to himself. "My soulmate... my soulmate? I find my soulmate? How? Why? When? Who? I can't remember, why can't I remember? Did I hit my head that hard when I fell? Does this person go to UA? Maybe I'll see them again. Ah, who knows. I found them... I've met them. We're soulmates, so we must meet again at some point, right? How do I tell mom about this?" Midoriya's muttering came to a stop when he heard the sound of his mother telling him to go to sleep. It had been a long day, and Midoriya had to get good rest before the first official day of his first year at UA.

When morning came, just as the sun was rising, Midoriya's All Might alarm clock rang. After less than three rings, a hand slammed on the off button, and he immediately jumped out of bed. After suffering from head rush for a minute, he continued getting ready. He decided that it would be best not to think about his soulmate that day, and to just enjoy the first day of school. He took a shower, got dressed, and ate breakfast with his mother. "I'm so glad you're excited!" Inko exclaimed after setting her spoon down, "Today is a big day for you, so have fun ok? I'm so proud of you!" Midoriya smiled and thanked her. He got up after finishing his breakfast, and headed out.

When he got to the front of the building, he took a deep breath, lifted his head, and took a step into the building. He couldn't believe it. He was officially a student attending UA. His eyes grew wide, and he smiled as he walked to his Homeroom. When he got there, he was glad to find that he recognized some of the students pretty well due to the cafe hangout as well as the entrance exam. Uraraka went over to where Midoriya was standing in front of the classroom, and greeted him. "Deku! Hey!" she exclaimed with a smile.

"Hey! How's it going?" he replied.

"Pretty great! I still can't believe we're going to be in the Hero Course! It's like a dream come true!"

"I know right! This year is going to be super exciting, I can already sense it!"

"Oi, Shitty Deku, shut the hell up. No one cares," Bakugou sneered from his seat and sent Midoriya a cold glare.

Ah, classic Kacchan. He's probably going to be like this for the rest of the year.

Midoriya sighed and decided to ignore him.

I have more important things to think about. School, classes, controlling my quirk, my soulmate-

"Deku!" Uraraka shouted a little which caused Midoriya to blink out of shock.

"Ah, sorry. What were you saying?" He already failed at not thinking of his soulmate that day.

"It's alright! I was saying that class is about to begin, so we should probably get to our seats."

"Good idea!"

As Midoriya was heading to a seat, he noticed a familiar face. It was Todoroki! There was an empty seat beside him, and Midoriya hesitated a bit before claiming that seat. Todoroki did not seem to notice him at first, which made the other boy feel slightly awkward. He opened his mouth to say something, but their teacher suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Almost everyone yelped in shock. Their teacher was a grown man who had dark messy hair that came down to his shoulders, and eyes that almost screamed "I need sleep." His outfit seemed ragged, and he was standing inside of a sleeping bag. Thankfully, almost everyone recognized him immediately. "Hello everyone. As you probably know, I am Aizawa Shōta.
