No nO NO NONONONONO.
Todoroki froze in front of the door when he noticed that some of the lights were on in the house. He instantly began to think about the worse scenario for that: His father was home. The last thing he wanted was for his father to scold him for not being home. He gulped, and slowly began to open the door.
Please don't be home, please don't be home, please don't be home...!
"You're back! Where were you? I was starting to get worried!" A feminine voice called out.
... O H
Fuyumi stood near the kitchen with a relieved look on her face. Todoroki completely forgot about his sister being home. He sighed, and began to explain the events the occurred that day, and the many days before. He didn't leave out a single detail, other than the annoying symptoms he got.
"Wait... so you have a soulmate? And you didn't bother to tell me?!" She playfully punched his shoulder.
"I'm sorry. It's not that big of a deal, though," he lied. It was a huge deal for him whether he realized it or not.
"Hm, I smell a liar. Well it's a good thing Dad's working extra late tonight! I was not in the mood to see him get angry at you for the billionth time."
"I know, I'm sorry. I didn't realize how late it was."
"Ah, stop apologizing! It's good to see you getting out more! Especially with a soulmate! You better be prepared for more teasing."
"Hah, sure. Just... please don't-"
"-Tell Dad? Are you forgetting who I am? Of course I'd never tell him! Your secret's safe with me!" She smiled, and Todoroki responded with a small grin. "So... what's Midoriya like? Other than being cute and stuff." Shouto sighed and hid a tiny blush.
"Well, he's kind. Oh, and he smiles a lot too."
"Wow, so descriptive." Her sarcasm was way too obvious. "He seems like the complete opposite of you!" She laughed, and Todorki scoffed. He had to admit though, it was pretty funny... and accurate.
"I can tell he's naturally a shy person, so he's lucky that I can't notice what symptoms he's getting."
Todoroki went on for the next five minutes, until he realized how long he had been talking. "Anyway," he coughed, "I guess I should call it a night now."
"Woah, woah, woah. At least train for a few minutes! Or make it seem like you did. You being caught skipping training is probably worse than stepping on a lego." She was right, it was worse.
"You're right, thank you." Todoroki began to head to the training room. "Oh, and goodnight."
"Goodnight!"
Thankfully, Todoroki hadn't been caught that night, and was able to start off the week without any bickering or punishments from his father. He walked into Homeroom, and instantly noticed Midoriya. When Midoriya noticed his presence, he looked up from the book he was reading and looked at Todoroki. He instantly smiled, and greeted him.
The day went by just like any other day. Well, almost. By the end of the day, Todoroki had told Midoriya that he would call him later, and headed to the cafe for his shift. As Midoriya was getting the rest of his stuff, he felt a strange presence. It was almost like someone was watching him as he gathered his stuff...
"Bonjour, Midoriya!" A voice suddenly exclaimed. Midoriya yelped and jumped back.
"Woah! Aoyama? You scared me!"
"Je suis désolé! I did not mean to frighten you! I just came over because I had something to ask you."
"Oh, what is it?"
