About a week after Midoriya met up with Todoroki, they did not really hang out much other than in school. Midoriya wanted to make plans with him, but didn't know how. He was pretty eager to get to know his soulmate better. He was pretty much comfortable talking to Uraraka, so he decided to ask her for some advice. He made sure to keep out the parts about Todoroki since they were still keeping the secret. "Hey! I have I quick question if you don't mind," he said as he approached her desk.

"Sure! What's up?" she replied with a bright smile.

"Well, I've noticed that you're pretty good at making plans with people, the whole cafe hangout for example, so I just wanted to know how to easily ask someone to hang out?" Uraraka paused for a moment, before looking back up at Midoriya.

"Wait, are you trying to ask someone out?!" she asked with excitement. Midoriya panicked, and waved his hand up and down to tell her to keep it down a bit. He glanced over to Todoroki's desk. Thank goodness he was listening to music on his phone. "Sorry! Am I correct, though?"

"I... yes- but not like a date or anything! Or maybe it is? Agh, I don't really know. Just please don't tell anyone about it, ok?" Midoriya's face was now a bright shade of pink. "Anyway, do you think you could give me some advice or tips?"

"Deku, this is both sad and adorable. I'm happy though! Anyway, just act natural, You shouldn't have to make a big deal out of asking someone to hang out. The more casual it is, the easier it is to ask them."

"Ah, I see. Thank you so much! I'll buy you a dessert later!" Uraraka took note to give people advice more often if it meant getting free desserts.

Midoriya walked back to his seat and waved at Todoroki. The other boy took out his earbuds, and waved back. There was still a bit of time before class started, so Midoriya took that opportunity to use his friend's advice. "Hey! Um, if you're not busy this Friday, would you maybe like to go hangout in the city area after school? Maybe this could be a good opportunity to get to know each other better." He prayed that he was casual enough.

"Ah, yeah that sounds good. I don't have any plans, so Friday works," Todoroki replied. Midoriya internally gave himself a high five.

"Cool! I look forward to it!" Todoroki felt that strange feeling in his heart again. He started to wonder if he was coming down with a cold or something. Such a clueless boy.

When Friday came around, Midoriya became both excited and nervous. It would be his first time officially hanging out with his soulmate! Who wouldn't be excited and nervous? Todoroki on the other hand, well... he was just plain nervous. He had never really hung out with people throughout his life, so he wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to do. It was also his soulmate that he would be hanging out with, so that just added on to his nervousness. He tried his best to hide his nervousness in order to not attract attention, and went to school.

As Midoriya was walking towards the front of the building, he got so lost in his thoughts about hanging out with Todoroki that he didn't notice that he was approaching the first step. Once again, he tripped.

Not again!!

Midoriya braced himself for the landing, but before he hit the edge of the steps he landed on something hard and cold. "Well, this is oddly familiar," he said as he sat up on what he already knew was ice. He looked straight ahead, and saw the only person he was expecting. "Morning, Todoroki! Thanks for helping me... again," he said rubbing his neck in embarrassment.

"No problem."

"I'm uh, I'm excited for today! I think this will really help us get to know each other better."
