"Spider-Man is coming to visit us today." "Oh my god, I can't wait to finally meet Spider-Man." "Should I wear my Spider-Man shirt." was all you heard while walking though the hallways of the hospital. "Spider-Man this, Spider-Man that. Why can't everyone just let him web their mouths shut while he's at it." you whispered to yourself. Don't get me wrong, on a normal day you'd totally fangirl with them. Just not today. Today sucks. You've been here for about four weeks now and it just sucks. You wanna see your friends. Well, you thought they were your friends, but ever since you got the news, they just bailed on you, just like your family. You're on your own now. You sighed and laid down on the hospital bed to take a nap.

"Hello? Darling?" someone asked while tapping on your shoulder. You opened up your eyes and saw Spider-Man, literally 2 centimetres from your face. "Um, space?" you asked and he went to sit on the chair next to your bed. "Sorry. How are you feeling?" he asked way too happy, still with his mask on. "Fucking terrible." you said with a sad tone. "Why? What happened?" he asked, sounding genuinely concerned. "It's not working. The chemo is not working." you said, for the first time out loud, realising you might die soon and start crying. "I'm so sorry. I'm just so scared." you said hiding your face in your hands. You felt two strong arms wrapping around your upper body. "Sshh, it's okay. Let it out." you heard him, sounding less Spidey, say to you. You two sat there for a while, you crying and him comforting you, before he let you go. You open your eyes and see Tom Holland right in front of you. Your eyes grow wider and your mouth falls open. "You're gonna catch bugs, darling." Tom said chuckling. You started blushing. "I thought they were sending over some knockoff Spider-Man dude, not the ACTUAL Tom Holland." you whispered and he started laughing. "I just wanted to tell you that you've really been helping me through everything, more than my own friends and family, and I'll never be able to thank you enough for that. I actually wouldn't know what to do without you." you admitted. Tom gave you another hug and you buried your face in his neck. "Can I get your number?" he asked while letting go again. You almost choked on air but quickly nodded. He gave you his phone and you put your number in it. "I'm so sorry, I gotta go to the other kids but I promise I'll make it up to you." he said and you just nodded, again. He gave you a kiss on your forehead and left the room, leaving you starstruck.

———————1 week later————————

You woke up to your phone ringing. You picked it up and heard a lovely voice on the other side. "Hello, darling." a british accent said. "Hello, Holland." you said. You haven't talked to Tom after he walked out of your room a week ago but you didn't expect him to actually remember you. "You remember me?" you asked. "Of course! How could I ever forget you? I promised I'd make it up to you and I always keep my promises." he said and you started blushing. "Is it alright if I come over?" he asked and you nodded but soon realised he couldn't see it. "Y-yes, of course." you stuttered. "Good, cause I'm almost there." "Almost whe-" you got interrupted by a knock on your room and just a second later, Tom was standing next to your bed. "Here." he said, answering your question. He was holding a big bouquet of red roses, a huge teddy bear and a box of chocolates. "I know it's cliché but I wanted to get you something to make you feel, even the tiniest little bit, happier." he said and you started crying. "W-why are you crying? Did I do something wrong?" he asked concerned and walked over to your bed. "No, no. Not at all. It's just so sweet. No one's ever done something like this for me before." you said and he started smiling. "This isn't the surprise." he smiled cheekily and you just laid there, being confused. "You'll see, just come with me." he said, holding out his hand. "I-I can leave?" you asked and he nodded. "For today, yes." he said and you gave him a hug. "Thank you." you said. "It's no problem. Lets go, otherwise we're gonna be late." he said and you walked outside and got in a taxi, apparently on your way to have the best day of your life.
