Chapter 8: Buddies To Enemies

So I forgave Shinwoo oppa already. He's my brother anyways. It's been a while since we went back home here in Seoul. So me and Jinyoung decided to visit Baro.

At Baro's Home

He actually lives alone in his dorm since that his parents are in the countryside.

"Baro-yah!" Jinyoung yelled. Then Baro opened the door and welcomed us in.

"It's been a while!" He said then he high-fived Jinyoung and hugged me. So we grabbed something to eat.

"Oh wait, I'll just go and buy some Coke at the convenience store." I said then went outside.

[BARO'S POV]

Hm. They look sweet together.

"Jin-ah, is something going on between you two?" I asked. He doesn't know that I actually like her every since we became best buddies.

"Oh, you don't know yet?" He said. I was confused.

"What? You're dating?!" I said with wide eyes. Then he smirked.

"Aniyaaa. It's just, well, we're just sweet together. I haven't asked her out yet. She's not yet my girlfriend too. But, we just had our first kiss." He said. I was taken aback. I felt hurt.

"Oh... Is that so...?" I asked then bit my lips.

"Why? Is something wrong?" He asked. Then I looked at him with fierce eyes.

"I actually like her every since the first time we became best buddies. I wanted to ask her out but I can't because I don't want her to avoid me. But I told myself that I'll date her too. And now... She had her first kiss..." I said. He was about to say something but I talked first.

"You're my best buddy yes, but I can't let you have her just like that mate." I said. Then he looked away.

"Jjan!" Najung said while going inside my dorm.

"Act naturally." I whispered. So he did. Najung sat beside me and it was fluttering.

Then we drank Coke and kept on eating. After a while, Jinyoung went to the bathroom.

[NAJUNG'S POV]

Baro and Jinyoung weren't talking like earlier. What happened?

"Hey, did oyu guys fight?" I asked. Baro just shook his head without a word. So I pouted.

"You're cute." He said while looking at my lips. So I smirked. Then he suddenly went near to me, almost kissing me. Then Jinyoung just got out of the bathroom. He pushed Baro away and took my hand. I was so confused and I have no idea what to do.

"She's not yours!" Baro yelled.

"I KNOW! But don't you ever do that!" He said. Then he was in anger. I held his hand and looked at him.

"Calm down. He didn't meant it." I whispered.

"STOP FIGHTING OKAY? WE'RE BEST BUDDIES REMEMBER?" I said. So they just nodded.

"Shake hands." I commanded. They looked at me and I looked back with fierce. They were hesistating but they still shook hands and hugged like brothers.

[JINYOUNG'S POV]

I had no idea what to do.

"Shake hands." Najung commanded. I hesistated but we did.

"Sorry... I don't want to start a war between you and me." I whispered to Baro's ear as he hugged. Then he looked at me and took a bow.

"Kaja?" Najung said. She hugged Baro first and he blushed. I smirked. Then we went home.
