Chapter 18

Eva's POV

"You took your time" Harry slurred as he wondered over to me and Jai.

"It's been 5 minutes, you're just too drunk to comprehend time" Jai said as Harry turned to him

"Party's over now, don't you have Mary to go bitch to around about now" Harry said as he patterned Jai slightly

"In fact I do, look I'll take Eva to get to get ready, while you gather yourself" Jai said as he placed his hands on me and began to pull me away

"Wait stop it you" Harry said as he spun himself around

"You'll get her later Harry" Jai said and then pulled me to the stairs. Leaving Harry mumbling to himself

"He's too drunk, we will most likely pass out before he gets to you" Jai reassured me as he looked back to Harry.

We walked to the maid room where Mary was and I saw her eyes squint slightly

"Don't bother, he's too drunk right now" Jai said as he closed the door. I saw Mary sigh and her face swept with relief

"Thanks god, I'll make sure he gets to bed on his own and I'll set up a guest room for her" she said and looked to me

"Come on darling, let's get you washed and changed it's been a busy day" she said as she walked over to me with her arms out

"I can come back later if you-" Jai started but I cut him off

"No it's fine you can stay, I don't mind"
He gave me a 'are you sure' look and I nodded

"Right, I'll get the water ready" she said and walked off into the other room. I turned to Jai and sighed

"Soon as we left the lake everything came flooding back to me" I looked up to him "it's hardly been long yet it feels like I've been prisoner for a life time, subject to all this bloody abuse" I almost screamed but kept my voice hushed, causing it to crack.

"I know, I'm sorry Dylan did that  I really am, all of Harry's friends are like this, I'm just sorry I wasn't there watching to stop him"

"Don't be sorry for that, I just want this bloody outfit off me now" I spat as it too was a painful reminder that hung. Jai hesitated as I began to try and pull the fabric off me.

"I'll un button it for you" he said as he walks to my back and began to undo everything. I tucked in my lip as tears began to fall. But having Jai undress me I didn't feel like I was being made vunrable or exposed, it just felt normal. In fact it kind of felt nice.

He got the top part undone and I managed to climb my way out of the rest.

Mary walked back in

"It's ready lov-" she then looked to me "and I see your ready, come along dear" she said and I began to walk over to the other room and Mary walked to Jai. I heard him whisper something to her and she gasped before both followed me.

Mary helped me out of my under garments, Jai turned away, then I climbed in and curled myself up.

"Jai, go fetch a night gown please for when she gets out" Mary instructed as she ran a cloth down my back. Jai nodded and walked out.

"It's fine Mary I can wash myself, you do so much for me already" I offered as I took the cloth from her

"Really I don't mind" she said but I hushed her

"No please, I can't imagine that it's doing to your back" I said with a kind tone. She nodded and smiled

"Okay love, I'll go fetch you a warm drink then while you do your thing"

Mary's POV

I smiled to her then began to walk out. Soon as I left I instantly heard her soft sobs which she's been trying so hard to hold back.

I began to walk to the kitchen, passing Jai on my way.

"Just give her a moment, come on with me to make her a drink" I said. He nodded and began to walk with me.

"Was she crying?" Jai asked. I turned to him

"From what you told me, who wouldn't. Poor darling. I think once I get Harry to bed then you should take her to the lake"

"I've already taken her, but I could take her again if she needs it, maybe I could get her to fall asleep there, god knows she won't be able to do it here" he told me as we reached the kitchen

"Please do, just for one night she need to forget  what she's become" I said quietly "she doesn't need to know she's the royal toy"
