Jais POV

"you know I love you Lily" I said as I hugged her

"I love you too Jai" she said as she pulled away. She walked away from me to the bed and lifted up Martha

"Lily" I said as I walked over to her as I grabbed ahold of her head and I looked down to our baby "and Martha, my beautiful girls, you know you are beautiful" I then began to kiss her and she kissed back.

And that's when I didn't feel it. And that's when I knew I was doing the right thing

Eva's POV

"Beautiful, I'll just go check on Harry" Mary said as she began to leave the room. I stared at my reflection. Crazy to think that the girl staring back at me had gone through hell and back and was still standing.

Still standing.

I turned away from the mirror and began to walk towards the door. I walked out and Mary was walking up

"He's nearly ready dear, the guests have started-" she turned around when she heard footsteps "Jai?" She asked as he came running down the Corridor

"Lily is just getting ready, I just need to be somewhere" he said before running back off down the corridor. I felt as though he stole my heart with him in the swush or air but no. I couldn't allow this. I knew better then to chase my silly little heart.

"Like I said they are arriving so it's a matter on when Harry is done-" again she was cut off by the other twin emerging out. He had a cup in his hand. He was drinking, no surprise

"This is ending at midnight okay I have things to do" he said as his eyes glanced over me

"I'll inform the guests" Mary said as she walked past me, she placed her hand on my shoulder for a brief second as she did so

"We could slip in a quickie" he said softly as he grabbed ahold of my arm

"This isn't easy to remove. Sorry" I said as I turned away from him. He grabbed ahold of my dress and lifted it up to reveal my undergarments

"What the- I said no to these"

"Mary wasn't thinking-"

"Mary... anyway let's get going, I want to get this over with pronto" he said and we began to walk but I couldn't help but feeling very concerned as he seemed to have noted Mary's name.

We arrived in the ball room where alot of the guests were. I decided to separate myself from Harry as loads of people began to come to speak to him.

"Eva" I heard a voice call. It was Jai. He as waving me over to him and Lily.

I walked over

"You look stunning" he said and I couldn't help but smile. But then I turned to Lily and it faded

"You too, this party seems so unnecessary, but I'm thankful for it" I said as I darted my eyes across the room. I noticed Harry whispered something to Dylan. Dylan looked over at us for a second then nodded and walked off. I knew he was up to something sinister

"I'll get us drinks, Eva why don't you use this time to meet Lily" Jai said, I couldn't help but notice how he was fiddling with his hands. But then again maybe he was just nervous about me and Lily meeting

"It's crazy how we live In the same palace yet we hardly have spoken" I said with a weak ass pussy boi laugh

"Look Eva, I'm sorry for everything, I wish I knew how bad he was, I could have helped-"

"It's all fine" I said cutting her off. I didn't want a sympathy speech. She was holding Martha. Martha was honestly beautiful and I could see Jai in her.

"She's beautiful isn't she" Lily said softly as she looked down upon Martha. I nodded. I felt a pain tense in my stomach as I remembered I lost my child.

"You can hold her if you want" Lily said offering Marta too me

"No no I'm fine-"

"Honestly it's fine, my arms are aching away" she laughed as she placed Martha in my arms

I looked down upon her. She felt so heavy and warm like a potato. She even looked like one too, like a Jai potato.

I couldn't help but smile. Martha was drifting off to sleep as I held her and I ran my thumb across her cheek. It made me long for for the child I lost yet seemed to fill some sort of hole

"You look good together" Jai said as he came back with three cups in him hands.

He handed Lily the one in his left then me one from his right hand and then moved the remains glass to his left so he could tickle Martas chin

"JAI, GET ME A DRINK" I heard Harry yell from across the room "ALSO BEING EVA"

"My pleasure" Jai said with almost glee.

I handed Martha back over and began to feel empty again.

Me and Jai then made our way to the drinks table.
