Chapter 20

Eva's pov

I said my goodbye to Jai and went to Harry's rooms. I walked in and felt my way around the darkness to find the bed, I heard no breathing so I knew he was still passed out over the piano.

I climbed into the bed and pulled the covers over me. I replayed the night under the moon with Jai over and over in my head. Smiling to myself as my mind slowly steeped away into slumber.

I woke up by the sound of the door opening. I adjusted my eyes to see a figure slump in. The goosebumps on my skin indicated that it was Harry. He had his head in his hands. I could see behind him that light was seeping in though the windows so I knew it was morning.

He groaned as he walked around the bed and I decided I needed to get up and get ready, also I didn't want to spend any time with him. Not with him hung over.

I began to climb out

"Where are you going" he grumbled

"I'm off to get ready, my parents are coming down today" I said without turning back. I didn't give him chance to reply I just wanted to get away from him.

I made my way to the room (where it happened the room where it happened) where I normally get ready. I walked inside and I saw Mary talking to Jai as she folded some towels

"Morning" she smiled as I walked in

"Morning" I replied with as I went over to her

"Have you seen Harry" Jai asked

"He just walked in, i think he's hung over" I said as I began to help Mary fold the towels.

"And he is having a meeting with some of the highest ranking people in the country today" Jai sighed as he slapped his head. Great so Harry was going to be hung over while this happened.

"And my parents are coming down today, i guess I'll just have to keep them away from him" I added. God why couldn't this situation work out that they pick the twin best for the job, not the oldest. Why did beau have to die, how did beau even die. Maybe I'd be marrying him, I'm sure he'd be a whole lot better than Harry.

"Wait your parents are coming?" Jai asked looking surprised

"Yeah, they said they'd visit me after the coronation" why did he seems so surprised

"Well we best get you all dressed up nice for them" Mary smiled as she grabbed hold of my shoulders

"I'll be back later then" Jai said, his voice still off. He began to walk out and I turned back around the Mary

Jais POV

I needed to find some jewerly to hide her bruises from her parents. They shouldn't see the torment their daughter went though. I mean yes maybe they should, maybe they'd help her. But maybe they wouldn't. But for her own reputation and also selfishly keeping her in my life I decided it is best to hide this from them. If they found out they'd surly take her away. Take her away from me.

I needed her eyes to stay in my life.

I went to the "junk room" and rambled though my others old jewerly trying to find anything subtle yet also covering at the same time. The dress would cover most and I'm sure Mary would pick something which would hide a lot of her, but for her arms and her neck and maybe even her face I needed to find something to sparkle over the scars.
