"Oh dear," is all I hear before I know I'm a dead man. "Wilbur, you are... oh I can't even begin..." I turn around to see my mother enter the disaster of a room and CARL hiding behind me.

"Mom," I call out nervously, scratching the back of my neck. "This can very easily be explained."

"Just..." she sighs, waggling her finger at me. "Go to your father before I end up grounding you again." I nod and run out of what's left of the room, heading towards my dad's lab.

Running up the steps, I enter Cornelius Robinson's lab and I see him talking with a man in a suit. "You called?" I say, bringing my hands into my pockets and staring at the stranger.

"Wilbur, this is Agent Diker, a fourth generation government official," Dad says, gesturing to the stranger.

"The government?" I raise an eyebrow as Diker holds out a hand to me, of which I reluctantly shake. "Do they want you to build something?" I release his hand and face my dad, folding my arms.

"Actually, Wilbur, they want the both of us to make something." He smiles at me and I raise my other eyebrow, surprised by what he said. "I'm not one to build, Dad. You and I both know this."

The two men in front of me start laughing and I scratch the back of my neck in confusion, clearly missing something. "Not that kind of building, son," Diker states, pulling out a file. He hands the folder of papers over and I open it, reading it's contents. "We need you and your father to form a team that fights for justice. Some, like you, are in this time, but others..."

"Woah, this stuff looks like it should be classified. Why are you showing me this?" I ask, reading it all.

"It's all need to know, yes, but you need to know it all." I smile as I notice that some are from decades ago. "You need me to use the time machine."

"Yes, indeed." Dad put his hand on my shoulder, looking at the folder. "These kids would trust someone their age, rather than a scientist like me. Plus, only the two of us know how to use the time vehicles."

"But wouldn't pulling them out of their timeline and into this one affect everything?"

"Not with this selection, and two of them are going to be here today for lunch." Dad furrows his eyebrows at one of the profiles before shrugging and facing Diker.

"The Robinson Presentation Lunch for Scientific Projects is today?" I ask, trying to remember today's date.

"Yep," Dad starts. "And we will be presenting the team there, Captain Time Travel." Smiling, I run out of the lab and towards the garage, where one of the time machines await.

Fifteen minutes later

"CARL! I'm going out!" I yell when I enter the garage, file still in my hands. Running over to the desk with my things, I grab my backpack and stuff the file inside with my scanner and disassembler and put on my charge glove.

"Please don't tell me that you're using the time machine." CARL's voice reaches me before he does and I just chuckle.

"Relax, I'm just going for some... souvenirs. It's only going to take two trips." I grin mischievously and jump into the time machine. "I'm off to 1965, so check out any newspapers with me on the front page," I call out before turning on the time machine and flying off.

Setting the date for May 16th, 1965 at 7:00 am, I press enter and the machine forms a bubble, taking me to the set time. Todayland fades away and in front of me, a city filled with a different kind of skyscrapers fill my view, a statue out in the distance that looks like some kind of superhero. "Hmm, am I in the wrong place?" I ask myself before landing on top of a random skyscraper and pulling out the file. "Let's see here. Metroville, May 16th, 1965. Well I'm in the right time." I don't think superheroes are real though... wait, never mind. Big Hero Six is over in San Fransokyo and I'm here to form a team of superheroes. "Okay, I'm here for... InvisiGirl, a member of the Incredibles, with the powers of invisibility and force fields. Often seen in red spandex with the Incredibles logo across her chest." Hmm, so... I'm here for a superhero. In the 1960s. When they supposedly didn't exist. Talk about a needle in a hay barn. I don't think they had this file right. I sigh, shrugging as I put the file back.

I leave the time machine and put it in camouflage mode, making a mental note of where it is before opening the door and heading inside the skyscraper. Quickly running to the elevator, I get in and press the lobby button, now heading down. "Now where would a superhero be at this time of day?"

"Well the superhero would be saving it, in my opinion." I look beside me to see a girl with white hair, wearing a blue suit. "Who are you looking for?"

"I'm looking for one of the Incredibles. InvisiGirl." I fold my arms and raise an eyebrow at her. "Would you happen to have any idea where she could be?"

"Hmm," she hums, holding up her index finger to her chin. "Last I heard, she's fighting against the Mole... again. He's getting predictable, nowadays. They might be fighting two blocks down."

"Thanks," I tell her as the elevator stops moving, the doors opening to the lobby afterwards.

"Any time," she calls out as I run out the front doors, actually seeing the fight I couldn't before commence.

"Great. With Superheroes, come Supervillains." I stop and pull out my disassembler, prepping my charge glove and running into the chaos.

There, InvisiGirl struggles with keeping her force field up as some kind of drill tries to get through to her, a guy on top of the outdated and rusty drill yelling at her to give up and that there's no point. "Need some help?" I ask, coming up beside the girl my age.

"Who are you!?" She asks as I calmly aim at the drill, flipping some switches on my disassembler.

"Captain Time Travel, leader of the Time Continuum Task Force." I shoot at the drill and the whole thing comes apart, electricity passing between all the parts until it fades and the parts fall onto the ground, the guy who was standing on top pulling out his own gun. I just throw a chargeball at him and he falls back, the chargeball knocking him unconscious and I turn to the girl beside me with glee. "Now, I have to apologize for not giving you warning, but the government from my time wants me to bring you in, unless you aren't InvisiGirl?"

"Alright, Captain Time Travel," she snaps, mocking my code name. "I don't care who you are or what you want, because your government is not my government, and I don't have to listen to a word you say."

"It includes going seventy six years into the future and a free lunch on behalf of my esteemed father, along with getting to play with more toys like the ones I just demonstrated," I say in one breath, holding up the disassembler and my charge glove. She pauses, thinking hard about what I just said. "Sadly, you can't bring your family though, but I'm sure you don't want to leave this city unprotected."

"How do I know you're from the future?" She asks, pointing at me accusingly.

"That, is an excellent question. I can prove it to you, if you just follow me." I use my hands to gesture towards the skyscraper my time machine is on top of while she looks back at the Mole. "Don't worry about him. I'm sure the police are already on their way and he won't be waking up for a couple of hours."

She thinks for another couple of seconds, eventually sighing and folding her arms. "Fine, but I'm only going for the food and toys. They just took down an enemy of my family's." She starts walking and I smirk before catching up and guiding the way.

"I won't let you down."

When we reach the top of the skyscraper, I pull out the key to the time machine and click a button, turning off its camouflage mode and revealing the red invention in all its glory, surprising the masked hero standing by me. "2041, here we come," I announce loudly, getting in and holding out my hand to her. "Do you trust me?" I ask, mimicking Disney's Aladdin.

"I don't even know you, Captain Time Travel," she counters, sobering from her surprise of the magically appearing vehicle.

"Touché." I get in the driver's seat and start pressing buttons, InvisiGirl laughing as she gets in to.

"Just remember that I have a force field that can keep you trapped for eternity." She buckles up as I salute in understanding, closing the Time Machine hatch before taking off to the sky, a loud "Whoa" behind me.
