I changed chapter 4! Go back and read it if you haven't already!

"Welcome, Professors, Doctors, Scientists, and Inventors.  Today, we will be enjoying a fabulous lunch together where all the Robinsons have prepared quite a selection of choices while showing each other just what revolutionary discoveries or inventions have been completed this past year," Dr. Robinson states into the microphone just as a golden robot comes out of hiding, his chest opening and much smaller copies fall out carrying plates, delivering them to every person in a lab coat.

"Hello, son," a man to my right says, a lisp in his voice extending his S's.  "Are you sure you're in the right place?"

"This is the R.P.L.S. Projects, isn't it?" I ask, watching as a mini robot drops a plate of food in front of me.

"Yes," he mutters, a little less enthusiastically.

"Then I'm sure."

"Oh?  Are you a plus one?"  He smiles a fake grin at me and I just return it with one just as fake.

"Actually-"

"Would Professor Hiro Hamada please come backstage?" A voice on the intercom interrupts, stopping me in my tracks.

"Well, if you'd excuse me, I need to go backstage," I say instead, standing up and leaving the lispy man in a state of confusion.

I step onto the stage, placing the headset on my ear and my backpack on my... well, back.  "Hello, everyone!  I am Hiro Hamada, a Professor at CalTech University from San Fransokyo.  Today, I bring to you both a discovery and an invention."  I press a button on a clicker and the presentation turns on, an image of a DNA strip appearing.  "This is the normal DNA double helix that we see all the time when it comes to genes, DNA, you know, the biological stuff.  We see the normal four A, C, G, and T, but I'm going to talk about the X gene."  I click again and a new DNA strip pops up with a section zoomed in, an unfamiliar gene being in the zoomed field of view.  All around are gasps and eyes widening, practically urging me to continue.  "I can say that the X gene has been around for over a century, possibly having not been active, but still within us, and it's just a matter of time before it activates."  I click it again and another zoomed in field of view appears, showing a formula of sorts.  "This is what has been suppressing the X gene from activating.  Somehow our bodies create something so powerful and a lock to keep it away at the same time, and though I have yet to discover just how long the formula has been in our bodies, I do know how to bypass it."  I then put down my backpack and open it, pulling out the invention Fire Launch and Orb Blaster had tested.  "This is an X Activator.  I know, a simple name that already explains its purpose, right?"  I hear laughs throughout the room, the scientists getting the joke.  "In theory, this technology suppresses the formula and activates the X gene, giving the wearer an ability he or she would have for as long as they wear it."

A hand is raised and I find it's the lispy man who sits next to me.  "What do you mean, 'in theory'?"

"I've only tested it twice before I was interrupted by some guests.  I am about to demonstrate how this headset works, though," I answer before setting the headset on my head and turning it on, my vision going out for a split second and the room filling with gasps as my vision comes back.

Hmm, I don't feel anything different.  How did Fred and Honey Lemon know what their powers were?  I begin looking around at the crowd, only stopping at a familiar girl I've seen only two hours ago, her dark, straight hair falling past her shoulders and covering half of her face.  She looks scared, as if she's seen a ghost, and simply the sight of her gives me a headache before my vision cuts out again.
