"What plan!? What plan caused one of my team members to act like this?" Wilbur asks angrily as I watch intently, Kwai's consciousness standing beside me.
"This is an... interesting development." Kwai stares at the remainder of the team as I stare at him, a little confused.
"Interesting development? Nah, I wouldn't call it interesting. I could almost see it coming, but the team is forgetting something. You would probably know what it is."
"Oh yeah, 'cuz I'm supposed to be all knowing and changing the timeline to better fit the group. I actually wouldn't know until the author of this story typed it down at some point in the original document. Queso, you're going to have to tell me." Kwai states with sarcasm, a little annoyed at my comment.
"Hiro went back two years to try to save his brother, or to help Dr. Robinson... I don't know which one it is anymore. He crossed his own timeline." I run my fingers through my hair as I look at the time. Seven more minutes.
"So? The time paradox was the girl who brought him back. She's probably a time remnant because of who she is." Kwai folds his arms and turns to me, oblivious to my point. "She also fixed the timeline so that he wouldn't cause a time paradox."
"Really? In seven minutes, this timeline is going to crash. Look." I gesture around the room and he looks around, noticing that stuff had started to disappear. "Something happened that caused a paradox problem."
"Why weren't they alerted of this, then?"
I think for a second, already having half a theory in my head. "It's already obvious that girl who brought Hiro back is one of the biggest paradoxes we'll ever see. She is a time remnant, after all. There must have been a second one that the scanners came upon at the same time, a small disturbance that makes this much of a change."
"Quick, get the team's attention and warn them. I'm going to slow this down... or try." Kwai walks through the wall behind us and I step up to the group, watching as they clamor over each other trying to get their points through in this argument.
"HEY!" I scream, yet it does nothing. 'Kwai, you mentioned something about Penny's ability.' I look over to the girl who doesn't seem to want to take part in this argument, looking over at the group with concern.
'Give her five bucks. She'll get the group to shut up.' Clueless, I pull out a five and walk over to the girl with the red hair.
Okay, what ability does she have? "Get their attention for me please," I ask, slipping the money into her hand. She nods, confused before stepping up to the group and I activate my ability, sending off waves to only her.
She yells the same way I did, except so loud the group goes flying back. "HEY! STOP FIGHTING!" She stares at the group in surprise and I nod, silently thanking Kwai before stepping up.
"We don't have time for your squabbles! Wilbur, Violet, Penny and Vanellope, get your a**es into gear and go back in time, you all have a time paradox to get rid of. There are only two minutes left before this timeline crashes!" I pull out a remote and press a button, forcing the team's suits onto them as they stare at me in confusion. "I was not hired for this job so you can stare at me. Look around. Stuff is starting to disappear and you need to go back to a month after Hiro beats Callaghan to watch for signs of a time paradox and find out just what caused this to happen." Wilbur finally gets the message and straightens immediately.
"Get to the Time Machine! Let's go!" Everyone except members of B.O.F.S. and Dr. Robinson runs out of the Big Room and into the Portal Room, where their only way out waits.
