"What?" The three of us ask, not bothering to whisper anymore.
"Some of you already heard from my dad, but the second prototype time machine was stolen, an in an attempt to protect the time stream, I enlisted my dad from the past to help me because the one in the present was on a business trip. A lot happened since then and long story short, in the span of three days I had destroyed this timeline and my own existence before my dad's past saved me and this timeline."
"Candy's making this sound like her glitch ability is your fault," I confirm, furrowing my eyebrows.
"It's possible. It's also possible we are reading too much into it." Wilbur rubs his temple with the palms of his hands, taking a deep breath. "I don't know how he could know anything about it, though. The time stream was returned to its original state."
"Did you get the second prototype back?"
He inhales, pauses, holds a finger up, and avoids the question with "that... is an excellent question."
"It better have an excellent answer, too," The red-headed girl retorts, giving the poor blue headed boy a glare.
"No, I didn't. Ya happy, Penny?"
"No, that means the timeline has yet to return to its original form," Violet groans. "What happened that erased you from existence?"
"I left the garage door open. That let someone steal the second prototype and go back in time. I had followed them in the first and found my dad setting up his first successful invention. I kidnapped my dad and brought him to the present to show him that I'm from his future so he would fix the invention. That plan went haywire and we ended up crashing. While he was fixing it, some drama happened and he instead went to the thief and ugh, do I really have to explain all this?"
"Yes," the red-head, Penny, answers, making the young Robinson sigh.
"The time stream was changed. Some crazy, power hungry bowler hats took over the world in the past, therefore erasing me from existence. My dad from the past was able to save this timeline, though. Alright, I'm done talking, I am not saying any more, this is highly uncomfortable for me."
"You're talking about power hungry bowler hats. I would be uncomfortable too," Violet answers, folding her arms as the presentation ends. "I'm a little uncomfortable being here, though. How much longer?"
Just then, Wilbur's dad comes by, stopping behind our seats. "Hey kids, I completely forgot about something back in the garage, do you want to follow me?"
"Yes please!" Violet almost jumps up in excitement, surprisingly gaining little attention as the rest of us quietly exit our seats, grabbing our things.
"Let's go," Wilbur says, putting his arm around Violet's shoulders as we walk.
That earns him a slap on the hand, making Wilbur retract his arm in defeat. "I can still hold you in a force field for eternity." The guy nods and Penny and I just silently laugh at the two.
"Two bucks says they get together," Penny whispers in my ear.
"Oh, you are on," I murmur back, shaking her hand in agreement.
We soon reach the garage... we get there within thirty seconds, considering Todayland doesn't really believe in walking anymore. So, we get there. Inside is very futuristic, blue lights along the edges and spotlights on some of Dr. Robinson's earlier inventions, one being that red flying car I saw earlier, but then we reach a cart with a chest sitting on top, different masks sitting beside said chest.
