Stuck in Custody- Jazmine and Cindy

6 rooms. 6 teens. All because Riley decided to be stupid, the entire bunch got arrested.

In room one sat Jazmine Dubois. She shook violently as the detective stared at her as if she were a painting on the wall. She fiddled with her fingers, trying to disregard the older man staring horridly into her soul.

"Ms. Dubois-"

"I DIDN'T DO IT!" Jazmine screeches. The detective blinks at her sudden outburst and clears his throat.

"You were at the mall Saturday night with your friends, correct?"

"Y-yea?"

"And what were you doing there?"

"Shopping."

"And who exactly was with you?" The detective questions, clicking his pen.

"It was me, Huey, Riley, Jada, Cindy, and Caesar."

"Okay. What's your relationship with everyone? Let's start with Huey."

"Um, Huey's my boyfriend of 3 years."

"Are you close?"

"Yes."

"And Riley?"

"Riley's like a little brother to me."

"Do you two get along?"

"Yes," Jazmine replies. "He's a trouble maker but he means well."

"Jada?"

"Jada's like a little sister. She helps with a lot and is always there for me."

"You say Jada and Riley are like a brother and sister to you. Why do you say that?"

"Well we aren't actually related," Jazmine tells him. "They're actually Huey's siblings. But I've known them long enough to claim them as my own siblings."

"Okay," the detectives jots this down, "and Cindy?"

"That's my best friends. We've been friends for years. She's Riley's girlfriend too."

"and Caesar?"

"That's Jada's boyfriend. We aren't as close, but he's really nice and makes sure I'm okay."

"That's nice. Would you like to tell me what happened that night?"

"Um, well Riley wanted to stay at the mall knowing it was closing in 10 minutes but we told him that it was a dumb idea and that we need to go home. But Riley insisted on staying, so we had to hide out until everyone in the mall was gone. But while we were roaming around, a group of robbers broke in and tried to rob the mall."

The detective leaned into his chair,

"Go on."

"So Huey and Jada started fighting them while Riley tried getting us to safety. But Cindy accidentally pulled the alarm and we all got arrested."

"Well you do know staying in a mall after hours is considered a crime, right?"

"But without us being there, someone would've taken a lot of stuff from the mall!" Jazmine protests. "We weren't doing anything wrong!"

The detective only looked at Jazmine and picked up the folder in front of him, leaving.

"Wait!" Jazmine yells. The detective turns around.

"Can I use the bathroom? I have to pee."

The detective sighs before allowing Jazmine to go.

Afterwards, the detective goes into another room where a blonde girl sat with a scowl on her face.

"Cynthia McPhearson."

"Aye! We ain't friends! You betta cut that government name shit out before we have problems!"

"You know why you're here right?"

"I had an illegal barbecue and that white bitch wit the black hoodie snitched on me?" Cindy replies snidely. 

"No. You were at the mall after hours stealing with your friends."

"Stealing? Bitch please, I can afford all that shit in there. We weren't stealing."

"Then what were you doing?"

"We was jus chillin in the mall. Messin around. We teens, the fuck you expect us to do? Stay at home and read the bible."

The detective sighs, rolling his eyes. 

"Who were you with?"

"It was me, Reezy, Jay, McHater, Jazzy, and Ceez."

"And who's idea was it to stay at the mall?" The detectives asks, writing.

"Fuckin Reezy's dumb ass. Ion know why we let that dumb nigga get us into shit."

"And who is Riley to you?"

"My suga daddy," Cindy winks. The detective rolls his eyes once again.

"And everyone else? What are they to you?"

"My fuckin family. I'll ride or die for all them. Well, maybe not McHater, he's bitch."

"And who is this McHater?" 

"Oh, dats Huey. He Jada and Riley older brother."

"Okay. And why did you all listen to Riley if you knew you shouldn't have?" The detective asks.

"It sounded fun to do. What you expect for us to do? Be pussy's and go home?" Cindy questions.

"What exactly happened?" 

"So Reezy was like, let's be dumbasses and stay at the mall after hours and we was like Reezy you's a dumb bitch... Let's do it!"

"And what else happened?"

"Sum broke ass niggas decided to rob the mall and while Jay and McHater turned into fuckin ningas and started beating ass, Reezy was trynna get us away from it and Ceez tripped me and I fell into the alarm. Then yo bitch ass arrived."

"Thank you for your time," The detective says, happy the interview was finally over.

"Oh my fuckin gosh, yes!! Get the fuck out!" Cindy cheers, rocking back in her chair. "Oh! And get me some water too!"
