Boondocks Random

First Period

In this Huey is 14 and Riley and Jada are 12. (They're twins in this chapter).

She'd been in bed all day and no one knew why. It wasn't like Jada to stay in her room all day.

"You think she sick?" Riley asked.

"No. Maybe we should check up on her?" Huey suggested.

"You can. I ain't trynna see what the hell wrong wit her."

"Riley, that's your twin sister. If you don't stop acting like a baby and come upstairs with me!"

"Fine!" 

Riley and Huey go upstairs to Jada's room and Huey knocks.

"Jada?" Huey asks. "You alright?"

"I feel like I'm dying!" Jada cries. Huey was getting ready to open the door. "No wait! I don't want ya'll to freak out."

"Jada, you've been in here all day, there's no way we can-" opening the door, Huey and Riley saw blood all on Jada's bed and her balled up next to it. 

"I-I told ya'll not to come in," Jada groans, holding her stomach.

"What the hell happening to you? Did you get shot?!" Riley questioned. 

"N-no, Riley," Jada quivers. "I don't know, okay? Just go get Granddaddy."

"He left an hour ago," Huey tells her. "We gotta get you to the hospital or something."

The twelve year old looks at her older brother,

"And make Granddaddy mad because he has to pay a hospital and ambulance fee? Just figure something out! I thought you were smart!"

Huey panics, not knowing how to help his bleeding sister. 

"Riley, go look something up on the computer and see what could be wrong with Jada. Imma take her to the bathroom and see if we can fix her," Huey orders. Riley nods, going to his and Huey's room to see if he can figure something out. 

"I'm not broken, idiot!" Jada yells. She winces in pain once more.

"Alright, let's get you up and into the shower," Huey gently grabs Jada and picks her up. She put her head close to his chest, shaking in pain. "Where exactly is the pain coming from?"

"It's like my stomach but lower. I feel like someone is stabbing my insides!"

Huey places Jada in the shower and quickly panics again. He didn't want to see his sister naked but he had to get her in the shower so he could wash all the blood off of her.

"Stay here. I'll be right back."

Jada curled up in a ball as Huey ran across the street. He knocked on the door and Jazmine opened it, smile on her face.

"Hey Huey, what's u-"

"I need you to come over real quick," Huey says, pulling her by her arm and dragging her across the street. He quickly stopped, not letting a car hit them, and then continues to his house. 

"What is it?" Jazmine asked.

"It's Jada. She's in a lot of pain and she's bleeding a lot. I gotta wash her off but I can't do it without seeing her naked and I don't wanna see her naked so I need you to-" Huey stopped when he heard Jazmine laughing. "What's funny?"

"I'm sorry, you're just really freaking out over this."

"Am I not supposed to?"

"Huey, Jada isn't dying. She's just started her period."
