"Can you please tell us what happened?"

It must be the hundredth time I tell it and I'm tired of it. I can only take so much. Can't they leave her alone? Especially now? I don't answer.

"I'm sorry, it's just they say this story deserves to be heard."

It's true. This is a story everyone needs to hear. I decide to give in and start the story.

"It all started in junior year. Summer was just a young girl, we both were just 16. Naive and innocent. All she knew was happiness and all she watched was disney movies. She believed to some extent that there were really happy endings in the world, even if it didn't include Prince Charming. She was always smiling and her laugh filled the room and made you smile too."

I start to imagine the story as I tell it. Everything plays against my mind I'm no longer telling the story, I'm re living it.
