From the very beginning, I knew Jenna showing up would be a huge problem. Since she showed up at the house, Alison hadn't stopped asking questions. I was afraid this would happen, and if this continued, it wouldn't be long before the truth was revealed.
She shouldn't even be near this mess.
"Dai..you're here?" Jenna was surprised to see me outside her house.
"Can we talk?"
"Yes..of course...I was just heading out for a meeting, but there's a coffee shop around the corner. We can go there if you want."
I nodded,
"That's fine by me."
"Great."
We walked in silence for a while.
"How have you been?" She asked.
"Great."
"god, I can't believe it's been almost 13 years since we last saw each other." She said again.
I didn't say anything to that.
"How's Alison?" She asked, and my jaw tightened, "I really loved meeting her. She's a lovely girl, and I can see why you treasure her."
I mused slightly,
"She hasn't stopped asking about you,"
