I flutter my eyes open feeling a nudge strike my leg. "What the h-," I breathe rubbing the area where Athena elbowed me. "Your a heavy sleeper. What can I say?," Athena shrugs getting out of the car. I mimic her actions stretching my arms out feeling a satisfying feeling as I do this. Being seated for a few hours sure takes a toll on your body.
"So where do we go from here?," I crease my brows confused as I scan the entire place we are currently standing on. Huge hills surround us. The weather of this empire is cold as the breeze sweeps through every once in a while dragging aged leaves along with it. However, what has me completely astonished about this empire is the beautiful vibrant colors that surrounds this place. The colors of the leaves consists of orange, red-orange, brown-yellow, yellowish, and cranberry.
This place is absolutely beautiful.

Taking a few steps ahead, I glance down seeing the colorful leaves all over the place. The wind flickering them. "According to the map Adamaris gave me, we need to head over there," Athena responds examining the map with Serena.
"How's Adamaris?"
Since I left alpha Lysias's empire, I haven't talked to Adamaris. She was against me coming to my mate's empire, but I still decided to come. I mean I don't know how I could say no to my mother in law. Even if Luka doesn't want me as a mate, I still care about being a good mate not sure why, but I do.
"She's good," Athena briefly says still studying the map. We proceed further down the hill following the red line Athena marked on the map. After a while of walking we come across a few fruit stands on the way. "Look pumpkins!," I excitedly squeak sprinting towards one of the stands on the side.

Orange and yellow sunflowers are all gathered together into silver buckets looking beautifully as little pumpkins consisting of orange, green, yellow, and white laid out in wooden buckets and some in metal wired buckets. I go ahead and pick one pumpkin up admiring its natural beauty the moon has blessed it with. The colors are all so similar in this empire. I wonder is Halloween is a everyday thing here?
