Alyja's pov

In the morning, I decided to go for a run then grocery shop. After that, I decided to hit the library where I'm currently am as of this moment. One thing I love is books. I literally get lost within them inside my own imagination which is hard to even explain in words, it's just so relaxing.

My favorite books are romance and anything from medicine to herbs. "Hun?," a soft voice murmurs from beside me grabbing my attention. "Yes?"

"We're about to close in five minutes," the honey chestnut haired she-wolf librarian nicely says walking away from my table. I nod in response, grabbing my books I believe will help me find a cure for Lodis. As I was making my way towards the front desk, a particular book shines from afar catching my eye.

I walk towards the section where it's currently placed in almost like there's some kind of invisible force between the book and I pulling us closer. As I get closer, I notice the book change colors before my eyes. From brown to white and gold. I come to a sudden halt from what I just witnessed. Looking at the librarian and around the library, I see everyone is in their own world.

I take in a deep breathe before proceeding into the section. The white and gold book shines brightly as I get close. Grabbing the book I feel a sudden shock that strikes my fingers as soon as I make contact with the book. I pull my hand back baffled by what just happened. However, I decide to grab the book again. This time no shock occurs.

Pulling the book out from the shelf, I scan it much more closely seeing a sparkly gold lock with a bold letter 'G' on it. I gasp, instantly recognizing this symbol from the wooden box the dragon eggs were in that day Athena, Serena, and I found them in that cave in alpha Yresis's empire. "What does the G stand for?," I murmur to myself analyzing it carefully.

I jump up from the sudden bell ring coming from the front desk notifying everyone in the library it's closing time. Without second guessing anything, I sprint towards the desk ready to check my books out.

"Can I check these out please?," I smile placing the books on the wooden desk.

The librarian nods in agreement as she grabs the books scanning them. As she does this, I notice the white and gold book disappears from the desk then appears on the other side of the desk along with the already scanned books. My brows crease together incredibly confused by this entire thing.

"What in the world?"

"Excuse me?," the librarian lifts her head up staring straight at me.

"Nothing. I was talking to myself ha," I respond letting out a fake chuckle.

Once the librarian finishes scanning all of my books, she hands them to me which I gratefully receive and out the door I was.

It's now dark and windy as I walk back to my apartment hugging my books tightly for some sort of warmth. Cars pass by the busy streets and people are walking towards whatever their destinations are. Further down the sidewalk, I hit a dark alley which instantly sends chills down my spine for some unknown reason. However, I start power walking in the hopes to quickly pass this area as quick as I can.

However, a sudden thud is heard coming from the alleyway which brings me to a complete stop. Turning around, I see an elderly dark eyed she-wolf with long white hair that lays flat besides both of her dark cheeks along with a white-grayish eyed wolf with silver hair that's tied into a man bun standing right beside her. Both, staring directly at me. This she-wolf seems awfully familiar like I've seen her before, but not sure where or when. As much as I'm in a zombie state staring back at them. I can't help, but notice her attire that consists of a white dress that for sure isn't from this decade.
