This is loosely based off the episode of Law and Order with Mike in it. Did I only watch that for him ? Yes. Did I enjoy it ? Yes! Please watch it If you can. Also this is my first DEH fanfiction and I haven't wrote one in a while... I am sorry for not updating my Erikar one but no one was reading it and I don't want to touch it. Okay sorry! Lets get to the story !
Connor Murphy has been missing for 3 years. He was abducted when him and Zoe Murphy were in the woods. She was looking for her big brother who had stormed out of the house. She was looking until she heard him scream. She ran but never seen Connor, only found his hoodie . A search party was out for six months but turned up nothing so the Connor Murphy case was never closed. Mr.Murphy said he ran away , Ms.Murphy says Connor was murder , and Zoe Murphy doesnt like to talk about it.
Connor's only friend was Evan Hansen who was asked many times if he knew where Connor was. He always gave the same answer. "Yes I seen Connor that day , the last time I saw him was when we were hanging out and his father ordered him home. He called me crying because his father found out about him being gay , telling him he never wanted to a Queer son" Larry Murphy says Evan made that up ", he ended the call when he heard Zoe call in his name. "
Heidi Hansen was also asked about Connor because she seen him that day. He had come to her to tell her that he was gay and thinking about asking her son out. She had said that he was allowed but if he hurt her son he would get killed. It took months to prove that Heidi hadn't killed Connor.
But one thing that Connor did after he left was left Evan with a hole in his heart. He loved Connor and after hearing that he was going to ask him out broke him into a million pieces . No one noticed but his own Mom but what could she do ? She can't bring Connor back. God she wishes she could because Connor was a second son to her. He told her everything. Heidi stopped him from cutting and much as Evan had. She seen him smile and they even had family movie night every Friday.
Friday's still were movie night but they were sad as hell, some days Heidi couldn't make then and Evan would just watch Connor's favorites.
Soon Evan tried killing himself but only broke his arm. Everyone hought he fell but Heidi , she knew he jumped because she found his suicide note in his jeans but once again she said nothing. So it became more silent between them.
