Welcome To Fayhallow

William woke up, he was in the back of a cart with a splitting headache. As he woke up more he noticed Shania next to him sleeping holding on to him her head laying on his chest. He then looked behind the cart Calil and Erick were riding their horses leading William's and Shania's behind them as they joked around.

Feeling him move and his heart rate increase, Shania woke up fearing something was wrong. She was relived when she noticed he was finally awake."your awake I thought you were going to die!" She exclaimed happily as she wrapped her arms around Williams neck."don't you know healing magic?" William asked sounding confused as he held her around he waist."Yes I do but I didn't think I was adept enough to heal you it was a very strong and very quick acting poison." She explained not loosing her grip.

Seeing that William was awake Calil and Erick rode up on either side of the cart "you ok?" They both ask in unison "JINX!" They both yell out and then they fall behind the cart again and start arguing over who got jinxed and who didn't. "So who's cart are we in and where are we heading? "William asked Shania who finally let go of him so he could breath. "It belongs to a farmer who didn't live that far away he's taking us to Fayhallow." Shania states as she gazed into William's eyes and he stared back into hers. "Kiss already" Calil and Erick yelled out still in unison they then got right back into their debate as Shania gave them a death stare.

"How long has it been, can we still make it to Fayhallow and tell the duke in time?" William asked a glint of fear and panic creeping into his eyes. "Yes its only the next day love" Shania said trying to comfort him. "We're here." The farmer yelled back to the group. "Welcome to Fayhallow!" He said as he pulled into the stable.

William got out of the cart and walked with the help of Shania to the gate as Calil and Erick tended to the horses. As William and Shania approached the gate guard William called out "I am Wiiliam Hunter son of general Ernest Hunter of the kings grand army I need to speak to the Duke of Fayhallow, Aiglasas has fallen to the monster horde of the great mountain range!" Looking shocked the guards quickly opened the gate and helped William to the dukes palace.

    Shania was forced to wait in the throne room as Duke Duran Valabolis and William spoke in private. A few hours have passed by, and finally William comes limping out of the Dukes war room barely able to walk on his own and wearing a big smile on his face. Shania ran up taking William's arm and supporting him. "I guess it went well?" She said William still smiling like a maniac. "He agreed to help us, and advice on where to go next." William said as he looked at Shania. "That's wonderful and if you don't mind telling me, where do we head off to next?" Shania asked him confused.

"We need to talk to the mages of Greenhold!" William says knowing that Shania and her family come from Greenhold. "That's amazing, when do we head out?" Shania asked William as he sat down in a chair, and she sat next to him. "We leave after the main group gets here, say where's John and Michael at?" William asked realizing he didn't see them since they ran off. "I don't know nor do I care." Shania says as she lays her head down on William's shoulder.

   Calil along with Erick walked to the dukes castle entering the great hall they see William and Shania sitting in front of the fire place. "So what's the news Calil asked as he walked towards them. "Well the Duke sent his men with supplies to aid the rest of the group, and as soon as they get here in a weeks time we will tell our parents that we have to go to Greenhold to speak to the council of mages." William said quietly as Shania had fallen asleep as they sat there.

    A week had passed and William could now walk and run on his own again they were sitting in the marketplace joking around, when they heard the horns signaling that the dukes men had arrived with the citizens of Aiglasas. The group of friends headed towards the gate where they met up with Sir Wolf then the city guard came through carrying two dead bodies. It was John and Michael the idiots wandered into a wild ogres den and were killed almost instantly but surprisingly the ogres didn't eat them and their bodies were intact. "That's their fault for being cowards and leaving us behind" Shania said sounding happy they were dead. "I guess so love" William says as he pulls her closer to him.

    "So now the Duke has ordered you to speak to the council of mages in Greenhold for what reason?" Sir Wolf asked William. "To find the Hallowed Vanguard sir." William said to the knight. "I thought they were just a myth in fact I still do, but if the Duke commands it I have no choice you and your friends may head for Greenhold in a few day as we get you the supplies and you speak to your families notifying them of your plans." The knight said hesitantly. "Thank you sir" William says as he exits the room to find his mother and inform the others.
