The Bandit Raid Pt 2 the Raid

The sun has risen again, and the group being a day behind schedule had to commence the raid. As they're packing up their supplies, and they start to lead the horses to a safer location Erick approaches William with a worried expression on his face.
"Hey Will, how're you feeling yesterday you just dropped out of nowhere, are you going to be able to fight without this happening again?"Erick asks William as he approaches worried for his lifelong friend.
"Yeah I think so but there's no time to replan for my absence we need to get this over with before the monsters set their eyes upon FayHallow, for all we know they could've already fallen either way we need to do this quickly"
William snaps back angrily, his hand instinctively reaching for his sword before he regains control and realized what he was about to do. As William looks at Erick and is about to apologize his head starts to hurt and he hears an unfamiliar voice within his head.
"You can't fight me forever I will break you and kill everyone you love."
The voice a deep and powerful voice that sends shivers down William's spine as the color from his face drains and as quickly and suddenly the voice came it left the intense pain in his head still lingered though as William felt a dark and foreboding presence stick to him.
"You okay man?"Erick asks as he grabs William by the shoulders.
"Yeah I'm good just a little nervous is all" William says forcing a smile as he stands up straight not wanting to worry his friend.
"We all are" Erick states back worried and confused but dropping the subject knowing how stubborn his friend is.
Erick helped William secure the horses and then they continued with the rest of the group as they head to the grates and the mages work together creating a storms. Then the water mages got to work cutting through the bars and flooding the fortress. Then the group headed in.
As William looked around to the flooded halls with several dead bandits he noticed cuts and stab wounds on the bandits and then turning a corner noticing a few dead orcs and goblins along with a few remaining orcs who were eating the bodies of the deceased bandits.
The rest of the group followed William around the bend as he gave them the signal to be quiet. Zern noticed the orcs and charged in, ignoring the warnings from William and Erick as he summoned a blade of lightning in his hand and cut down the first orc he managed to kill one more before he was hit by a goblins arrow and a orc brought his massive blade down decapitating the young and arrogant mage.
     "Idiot" William whispered to himself as he nocked an arrow in his bow and took down the two goblin archers as Erick ran forward with Damon in front of him and magic bolts following and killing a few orcs then as the battle continues and more and more goblin archers appear along with orc warriors and even two heavily armed orc chieftains follows, the group starts to get pushed back Erick already needing to be healed retreats and lets the healing mages attend to him. William shoots a few more goblins than he unsheathes Oathkeeper and starts to battle a Orc chief evading the Chiefs attacks and landing a few of his own but the Chief wouldn't go down and the second one started to help the first one.
   Before the second Orc chief can get a swing in a loud cackling laughter pierces the battle causing everyone to stop and look towards Nahomi a dark cloud forming around her as she raises the dead orcs and bandits littering the halls.
    Then William turns around to see the Chiefs massive great sword coming to his head when suddenly a sword is plunged through the Chiefs abdomen, and William sees Shania standing there with a fallen bandits sword in her hands as the Chiefs body falls to the ground and then is raised by Nahomi the orcs start to retreat.
"Shania that was stupid and reckless,you shouldn't have rushed in like that." William says as he sheathes Oathkeeper and walks towards her, stopping once he is face to face with her.
"Yeah well otherwise you would've died you assho-" she was interrupted as William kisses her unexpectedly and after a few moments William breaks the kiss. "Thank you, I love you." The sword falls from Shania's hand as William and Shania lock eyes. "I love you too but you're still and asshole." Shania says with a smirk, as she walks back to the group.
   "Nahomi send your undead ahead to weaken the orcs who are probably waiting for us then raise any more fallen."
   Nahomi let's out a chuckle as she sends her undead forward and follows close behind them. After Nahomi and her miniature army disappears up the stairs and the group follows. After a few levels of the ancient fortress the group pushing through the Orcs.
    Eventually Nahomi reaches her limit and passes out being caught by hunter and then awoken by one of the healers. Shania picked up another sword and joined William, Erick, and Damon at the front. Along with the remainder of Nahomi's undead in front of them unable to be revived by the weakened Necromancer as they get cut down. The group fights its way through the Orcs and goblins coming across a few trolls and a ogre then they reach their destination.
      They enter into a large chamber at the center of which sat a man holding a sword with a elegant Scarlet blade and silver hand grip wrapped in leather dyed black and rubies mounted in the pommel and hand guard them man had matching armor and shield as he turned to look at the group of teenagers and William hears Hunter behind him whisper in awe and fear. "It's him the crimson Warrior, one of the 12 generals of the dark god!"
Upon receiving this news a smile formed on William's face as he started to laugh and then charged in locking in combat with the Crimson Warrior Damon follows William into combat providing some distraction as William hacks at the Warrior still laughing like a maniac. After their shock wore off Shania and Erick rush in helping in melee combat as the mages launched spells at the Warrior who just raised his shield and blocked each spell. As the Warrior reaches up to block the mages spells Erick stabs the Warrior through the back of his leg behind the knee causing the Warrior fall to one knee and swing his shield around smacking Erick upside the head and causing him to pass out, but as the Warrior did this William stabbed him through the armpit another weak spot in the Warriors plate armor then Shania stabbed the Warrior through the neck as he tried to impale the unconscious Erick with his Scarlet blade.
The Warrior then collapses dead, Shania's sword still in his throat as she looks at the Crimson Warriors sword and picks it up along with the sheath to the blade from the Warriors belt. As Shania does this the mages rush forward and one of the healers kneels down next to Erick to wake him up as Hunter looks on with a smile. "We did it we actually managed to kill him." Hunter says as he supports Nahomi who's still weak and they walk over with the rest of the group.
William walks to the wall and pushes in a few stones in a certain order as told to him by the Archmages as William continues to giggle and chuckle to himself. A secret passage to a hidden room opens up and inside the group finds maps and documents belonging to the Hallowed Vanguard.
