Two days later

The older woman closed her eyes and sighed in content as she felt those plump lips on hers. She softly kissed back and raised her arms to rest on Dinah's shoulders.

Feeling her back hit the wall, she let out a small grunt. Normani tried pushing the taller woman away, but Dinah's grip on her hips were far more stronger than hers.

Instead, all she was able to do was whimper and pull her mouth away from the blonde's.

She slowly opened up her eyes to meet Dinah's dark and hooded ones. They were both breathing heavily from the kiss. Normani once again tried pushing Dinah away from her, but failing for the second time. The blonde's hands squeezed at Normani's waist and pushed her body into hers, so that she was now pinning her against the wall.

"Trying to run away from me, baby?" Dinah whispered with the hint of a smile on her lips as her warm breath on Normani's mouth.

The darker woman hesitated, almost getting lost in Dinah's eyes before answering. "We shouldn't be doing this right now. Daniel is awake." She reminded Dinah as she dropped her hands from her shoulders down to her sides.

Dinah only smirked and leaned in to peck her lips twice. She then nodded and removed her hands from Normani's waist and pushed hersepf off of her, giving them distance.

The darskinned beauty evened her breathing before smoothing out her wrinkled shirt. When she looked up at Dinah, she found her staring at her with a stoned face. She could tell that she was really thinking hard about something.

"What is it?" Normani asked. She thought that she had an idea on what has got Dinah all quiet, but she quickly forgot about that once Dinah told her what was really on her mind.

"Im tired of not being with you Normani. We've had our talk, now lets finally talk to Daniel so we can move on." Dinab said honestly, not afraid of holding back.

Normani on the other hand, was quite surprised and didn't know what to say. As Dinah noticed this, she continued.

"I don't wanna sneak around or hide anything from our son. I wanna be with you because I've realised that I still have feelings for you and I don't wanna feel obligated to keep our relationship a secret."
Dinah said, approaching Normani again. She took her hands into her own and looked deep into her eyes. "So let's include Daniel and do this the right way."

After Dinah finished, Normani looked down at their hands and then back up at Dinah's eyes. She sighed thinking that it wasn't that easy. What If he doesn't approve?, She thought.

She knows that they are the adults and they are the ones who are in control of their relationship, but Daniel's trust is very important to her.

All Normani wants is for her son to be comfortable.

"Okay, we'll talk to him today." Normani finally spoke.

Once they both agreed, Dinah excused herself from Normani's room as she got into the shower. Following her lead, Dinah decided to get ready for the day as well while Daniel sat on the couch watching tv and coloring Captain America in his comic coloring book.

The family of three were now sitting at the table eating breakfast...and ignoring one another.

Each one of them was occupied with something else. Dinah was on her phone texting a teammate about practice. Normani was on the phone with Ally as they talked about some new guy she met. Daniel was on his mother's tablet playing the latest game of temple run.
