"That'll be a total of $9.37 please." The cashier said to Dinah.

Dinah nodded and pulled her card out of her wallet, and handed it to the teenager. She watched as she swiped it and printed the receipt.

The red head smiled and told her that it would only be a 2 minute wait.

Dinah stood over to the side as she waited for the drinks to be made, As she stood there, she couldn't help but think about Normani.

She's been thinking about her ever since she left the apartment last night. She couldn't sleep well without the woman there by her side-just like old times (high school days).

At first, she was convinced that she just had too much energy the night before, but when she woke up this morning craving the older woman's touch, she knew that wasn't the case.

So after she dropped Daniel off at school, she drove straight to Starbucks to pick up Normani's favorite drink.

The plan was to keep her company since she wouldn't be home until 5 in the afternoon today.

"Order for DJ?" Another teenager called out. Dinah stepped forward and grabbed her drinks. She thanked them and told them to have a good day before walking out of the cafe.

As she finds a parking spot, Dinah parks the car and grabs their drinks so that she can begin heading up to Normani's office.

The older woman texted her the floor number earlier and told her where her office was so she wouldn't get lost.

Dinah softly knocked on the glass door a few times before walking in. As soon as Normani saw her girlfriend, she smiled widely.

The older woman stood up and walked over to the door to close and lock it. She made sure to close the blinds before making her way to Dinah.

She wrapped her arms around the taller woman's neck and pulled her face closer so she could place a kiss on her lips. Dinah put the drinks down on the desk before she wrapped her arms around Normani's small and toned waist-pulling her body closer to deepen the kiss a bit.

Once they pulled away from each other, Normani watched as Dinah looked around her office and took a seat in her office chair behind her desk. The darker woman walked around her desk as well and stood next to her girlfriend, waiting for her to finish admiring her work equipment.

She made sure to put up all of her clients' files and any other important papers before Dinah came because they both could've been sued for looking at them without permission.

Normani was taken away from her thoughts when she felt Dinah's arms pulling her down to sit on her lap.

The blonde looked at her with a goofy smile and quickly stole a kiss from the woman on her lap. Normani giggled and put an arm around Dinah's neck. "You taste like green tea."

Dinah smiled, "That's what I'm drinking ."

Normani looked over to their drinks and saw that her girlfriend did indeed have a green tea latte. She then saw her iced chai latte and her face lit up. She immediately scrambled to grab her drink, sighing in relief when she tasted the drink.

"You were more excited about the damn drink than you were when you saw me." Dinah playfully pouted.

Normani playfully rolled her eyes back, but she still sipped on her Starbucks drink.

When she finally put the drink down, Dinah squeezed her girlfriend's waist with one hand, and smoothly rubbed her thigh with the other as she thought about asking Normani something.

"Mani..."

"Hmm?" Normani hummed as she turned her body a bit more to face Dinah.

"You know how I'm leaving in two days to go on road for a week's worth of games?" Dinah asked and Normani nodded. "Well, I've been thinking about taking you out tonight. Ya know, since you don't have to work... and I was planning on taking Daniel out the next day."

"We're gonna miss you." Normani said quietly, and began running her fingers through Dinah's freshly washed hair.

"I know...I'm gonna miss y'all too." Dinah responded. "But would you like to go out with me and some of our friends to the bar tonight?"

Normani's eyebrows furrowed and Dinah noticed. "Why the bar? And I thought it was just us..."

"Well, I didn't wanna be boring and take you to the movies and dinner afterwards." Dinah said with a small giggle. "And Kehlani wants to take her girl out before we leave too."

She watched as Normani's facial expression was blank. She waited for her to disagree, but she said nothing, so she continued.

"I can take you out somewhere else if you want?" The blonde suggested.

Normani just shook her head. "No, don't do that. I can call a few friends and see if they'll be willing to come out with us."

Dinah nodded. "So, what time will you be ready to leave here?"

Normani looked around and let her eyes land on a small stack of papers that she had to complete before 5pm today. She thought to herself and estimated a time. "Probably around 4pm. Which means that you'll have to pick Daniel up from school."

"Oh yeah, speaking of little DJ..."

"Wait, hold up...little DJ? Really?" Normani asked with a smile.

"Yes it's cute, now hush up and let me finish." Dinah smiled. " Who's gonna babysit him tonight?"

Normani bit her lip as she remembered how her parents were out of town, so they were out of question. The next person she could think of was Ally.

She hoped that the small blonde was available because she was her only hope.
